you will see there is a fuse on the cartridge. replace it with a new one. it can be biger becouse you will remove it again. put the cartrige back with other fuse and close door for 3 secons. take cartridge out and remove the fuse. put cartrige back with out the fuse. it sould work.
the other way is to push setup and then # 1934. push setup again check for new cartrige or egnore cartrige. swich m/c off and on.
problem with any one of your cartrides. open the carridge door and renove color cartridge and close it.if it says insert left cartridge then it could be the problem with color cartrige.or the same error come then put the color cartridge and remove the block cartrige.if display says insert right cartridge then it could br the problem with black cartridge.try clesn the cartridge contacts & ink nozzles and put it back (use a soft cloth to clean the cotact)
I've found out what was wrong. My cartridges expired. HP has put a "limit" on how long your cartridges last. They do this to try to prevent refilling. Cartridges typically last for a little less than two years after the expiry date listed on them.
You can fix this (as I did) by buying a couple of new cartridges # 56 and #57. They sell them together in the same pack for 50-something bucks in Walmart.
open the front cover the cartriges will come in the centre position where you can remove the cartridges check which cartridge is on your right side remove and clean the brown dotted circuit on both the printer and cartridge with the tissue paper .insert it back in the proper position and then check if the same problem then remove and replace the cartride printer will work properly.thanks
remove the cartridges and reinstall them back, turn the printer off , if that does not work, did you use a new original cartridge or a recycled cartridge ?, either way will trick the printer into the new cartridges, i, hope this solves the problem good luck.
