If you forgot your yahoo password you can reset it by your security questions or alternate email addresses. Just click I can't access my account. Enter your yahoo ID and click next. Now give your alternate email address or security question's answer and reset your yahoo password. You can also retrieve user ID by the same way.

IF you havent accessed your Yahoo id for long time, when you try to access it, you will get an Authorisation ( Verification code ). you have to enter it.

logon to www.mail.yahoo.com and enter your email id - without @yahoo.com and enter password, you will find a small window below the username and password to enter the code, enter the code and it should let you access your emails.

Before doing this, Try Clearing Cookies and Temporary internet files from Internet Explorer.

Open Internet Explorer - Click on Tools on Top bar ( menu ) click Internet Options and Click Delete Cookies/ Temp files or Delete all Button and click OK

You probably mean why when you want to send an email, your Yahoo email program doesn't automatically load as your default client?
If that is the case, all you have to do is download the Yahoo messenger.
Once its installed on your system, you should go to Internet Options on your Control Panel, and select the Programs tab.
Locate the E-mail option, and click on the dropdown arrow next to it.
Select Yahoo as your default email client, and click OK to accept the changes.
Done.
The next time you want to send an email, Yahoo mail will open by default.

this is not exactly where you should be. Yahoo offers POP3 email for your outlook but there is a price for that. to use yahoo free email service, you need to send the emails from your webmail yahoo account. open the website, www.yahoo.com, click on MAIL, then enter your user name and password and clik next and then it will take you to your inbox where you see all your emails. so then click on COMPOSE. then type the email address you want to send the emails to. then to attach the photos, click on ATTACH. then click on BROWSE, then select the pictures which you want to attach. select them and then click on attach. you would see the attach pictures like attachment 1 or 2 or 3...4 and then click SEND.

thats all you need to do.
