It's my understanding that when the range encounters an error, it flashed "E" and then the error code. As this occurs E as your turning it off, and not followed by an error code, it mat be a fluke in the design. I'd ask the dealer where you bought it, but if everythng is functioning normally, it's probably nothing of concern.

There is an E that flashes, then nothing and it turns off so we are not able to use it to cook.

Not good news. This shouldn't happen with a new oven, but I've read several horror stories about the brand. Contact the dealer and make the fix it. But in some cases the repairs took a year and in others never got fixed. Sorry, I know of no easy fix.

My Amana electric stove top popped and i saw a red flash from the burner i turned on. This happened twice. The breaker tripped each time. What could have caused this? It has never happened before.

There is a short circuit problem/fault with your electric stove. Short means both live and neutral cables are connecting together at some point I.e. with no load in-between them.

Have an electrician help check things out for you.

How to turn off fan from bertazzoni

My handyman just installed an inline dimmer switch on the wire leading to the oven fan. Turned down to halfway, there's now a gentle breeze, rather than a wind, coming from the oven door, and the noise is reduced as well. None of the wires are heating up at all. Seems to be a successful adaptation to an atrociously loud component of this otherwise lovely stove.

Which element is it? Try to switch the infinite switch from another element. This will tell you if it is the element or the switch problem.

PF on Whirlpool super capacity 465 electric Stove Model RF366PXGW2

PF = Power Failure. Sounds like you have a bad electrical connection. With your breaker off, check that the connections from the cord to the range are all good and tight. Next, check the receptacle where the cord plugs in. Remove the cover and check the connections there as well. Examine the power cord also. There could even be a poor connection at the breaker box (at the circuit breaker or the neutral buss bar) but not as likely, as your problem appeared when you moved your range.

Electric range

hi,
the burner needs to be replaced, and as far as the oven goes, if you get the same code when you try to use the broiler setting you may need a new control panel. there should be an envelope on the back of the stove with papers in it, that is a tech guide, it should tell you what that code means. depending on the overall condition of the stove it may be better to replace it then fix it.
