At present its not possible because the language changing software are still not made.Nintendo DSi are regional coded, both the console and the games , if you buy a Japanese device, you'll have to buy Japanese games too. This is a huge drawback for users who don't speak Japanese, because you can't just change the language into English.but its said that company will launch the software to change the language .it will be launched in english, chinese, irish and japnese.at present only japnese dsi are available. you will have to wait till march 2010 for this software to be launched.as its said by the company.many users are waiting for this software. will be always waiting to help you.when ever you require more help.please keep updated.please do rate the solution if helped.thank you for using fixya.

Can i convert the language from Japanese to english for my nintendo dsi??

If you are using a japanese DSI then there is no option to change the language from Japanese to English. But here is a youtube video to help assist you with the screens and what each screen means: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaFExyUFZIQ

I cant translate my japanese ds i to enlish

Sadly, you cannot change the language in the DSi to anything other than the systems default. If you have an imported DSi, it will remain in Japanese.

Sorry about that!

I am not sure if this will help or not but it is worth a try. Here is how to change the language. Hopefully there will be a option to choose English.

  1. On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
  2. Select the right arrow thee times to go to page 4, then select "Language."
  3. Select from the options options on the screen:
    • English
    • Français (French)
    • Español (Spanish)
  4. Select OK (the bottom-right button) to confirm and return to the System Settings.
Note: Some games that feature multiple languages may display in the language you have selected in the system settings.

Is there already a english converter for japanese dsi?

The DSi has not been hacked as of yet, so currently changing the region is not possible. However, if you can guess your way through the settings (I can't help here as my DSi was stolen) then I think you can change the language. Other than that you can't do much else.

Japanese version to english

No, the Wii is region locked. Unless you get a mod chip to play out of region games. But I don't think there is a way to change the menu language.
