When plugged in my recorder shows a steady starting after a few seconds makes a clicking noise then just shows starting again and nothing else
I searched using Google and Duckduckgo and could not locate a manual.
I saw the following discussion from 11 years ago that might have some information to assist.

http://printer.konicaminolta.com/support/current_printers/mc2430dl_sup.htm#Printer_Specific_Documentation The user guide should be helpful to you to pinpoint what is causing the noise. Sounds like the belt drive or gears may be having a problem. Let me know what happens. Tim

Hi,
I had a few problems with my philips 3450 - I downloaded the latest software upgrade at www.philips.com/support , and my issues were resolved. Worth a shot...
Only other thing I can think of is you may have a faulty batch of DVD-Rs?
Best of luck!
SOURCE: pinging noise every few seconds
The pinging noise could be a door alarm which sounds if the door is left open for too long.

SOURCE: card started making loud clicking noise
Hi, couple main reasons to get loud clicking in a computer. First is the hard drive, so if you can turn the system off and disconnect the power and the information cable from the hard drive, yes your computer will not boot all the way back into windows but that is ok since you just want it running for awhile to see if the clicking stops. Next thing would definitely be the fans, any fan in the system, the blade part of the fans can get loose sometimes and start to hit the sides as it spins around, you need to be sure about which part it is that is causing it, it can come from the power supply fan, the case fan, the video card fan, the cpu fan, and you might have more than one case fan, test by disconnecting one at a time just make sure to disconnect the device too so you do not over heat anything. Once you identify which fan just replace it, if its something like power supply or video card, unfortunately you might want to look into either warrantying the part or buying a new one.
Testimonial: "i am sure its the video card its only 6 nmonths old the nwarranty is three years maybe nit will be covered thanks nfor your help"
