How can I bypass the control panel on a Logitech G51 and hook it up to my home stereo?

The remotes crop up on eBay, here's one:

Phone jack on woofer goes into computer tower (should be color coded green) and power cable on woofer plugs into 120VAC. Speaker phone jack plugs into back of woofer. The speaker cable has an on-off switch and volume control as well as a phone jack for your headset.

Hi Try using your MB Audio Programs that came when you installed your MB drivers...I know GIGABYTE Audio Programs Test sound from each Speaker that is connected....Or you can try this website and download that and test....Hope this helps

Haven't tried this myself, but first thoughts that come to mind are that it sounds like you must have the connections right for things to work when in bypass (which routes the signal straight from the input to the output uneffected). I'd suggest making sure your gate is 'off'. On the DBX turn the 'threshold' knob in the Expander/Gate section of your front panel all the way counter clockwise to 'off'. I would also start with your compression 'ratio' knob turned all the way counter clockwise to 1:1 which effectively turns off your compressor. If you have sound coming through like this then you can start fooling around with the controls to effect the sound the way you'd like.

I'm sure you're already aware that the compressor has separate mono channels and you'd have to hook up right and left through their own compressor channels to have stereo compression.

I'm sure you went to Control Panel, opened device manager, and and checkeck for any yellow checks for your
sound, video and game controllers. If there are none, your system is go. Then go to your audio manager on control panel, and set it up for whatever speaker configuration you have. I have realtec audio manager. This step is a must for configuring—you choose whether your laptop will use its own speaks or use your external speakers—you have to turn off the internal speakers and turn on the external. Did you forget?

you will need to go into the sound manager in control panel and make sure that the external mic is enabled as the default use and ensure in the sound settings that the mic is not muted, this is normally done by right clicking the speaker icon in the taskbar and selecting options and see if the mic is muted or not in the properties
