Don't mess with the touch screen ot your GPS. Even getting the proper replacement, you won't be able to replace it correctly. Take you GPS to it's authorized service store.

Golf Buddy Platinum will not show any display, just bright screen only?
Try a reset.

Press and hold the Power, Ok, and Down (or Up) buttons for about 12 seconds until you see progressing LED lights (red, orange, and green lights) on the bottom followed by "GolfBuddy" message. This reboot will revert the firmware version back to its previous stable version.

I have Purchased a Golf Buddy VTX. It comes without a wall charger. Can I use the charger provided with my Golf Buddy Platinum purchased 6 years ago.
If the plug fits and the voltage is correct there would seem no reason why you shouldn't use it.

It might be worth checking the part number of the charger you have with the part number of the charger that should have come with new Golf Buddy - there is lots of information online.

is usb hub powered or passive ?
had trouble with usb hard drives on usb hybs - research on solution is a powered hub .

When you try to locate satellites it could take some minutes before the device find enough to calculate the location. Please give it some time. Also make sure the watch is charged.
