Top dish rack dishes don't get clean model 8575637

Most dishwashers have a rotating spray bar underneath the upper rack. Over time bits of food can clog up the holes and then dishes won't get clean in the upper rack. Check to make sure all the holes in the spray bar are clear and that it is rotating freely.

I have a whirlpool quite partner 2 model #8575637 and there is still about an inch of water in the tub and I cant get any of the buttons to work or turn on

I would check the simple solutions first. Make sure there is power to the receptacle its pluged into. If it's hard wired then make sure there is power by opening up the bottom, front panel and you will see the wiring compartment. There you will be able to check for power with a voltage tester. If no power then check all gfci receptacles and the breakers in your panel.
If power is on then you will have to replace either the main control panel or the entire washing machine in the worst case scenario.

We have a dishwasher, model number 8575637, and it doesn't seem to clean anything on the top rack. I have added rinse agent and I just used a product to clean the dishwasher and it still hasn't helped. ...

White film deposits are observed if water is hard or when you are using more detergent than needed, try filling detergent cup half way. Try using white vinegar after the wash cycle is complete, run a complete cycle. Also turn down the heat on the hot water fed to the dishwasher. Try using water softener for better results.
You can also add vinegar in the final rinse cycle. Make sure that your soap dispenser drawer is opening and closing fine.
