I have an uberhaus bathroom tap set that seems to be responding differently lately. It take about one second to stop the flow. Do I need to replace the valves?

The cartridges, yes, sounds like they are nearing their end. As they do shut off, I see no problem in letting them go for awhile; but eventually they will reach a point where they will drip (not shut off completely). Personally I prefer OEM cartridges, not aftermarket.

you may need a new gas valve....but i think you should replace the ignitor first. the gasvalve won't open unless the ignitor pulls a certain amp draw to keep it open, since yours is just opening when you hit it, and closing when you hit it again, i believe it is the ignitor

SOURCE: Getting really hot water to the kitchen but only

If some taps have really hot and others luke warm, then you might have defective mixing valve, check valve, or crossover on single handled faucet.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Crossover.html

Crossover can also cause stacking event. Stacking could be part of puzzle.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Stacking.html

Once crossover or check valve or mixing valve problem is solved, if you have really hot water to some taps, then turn down thermostat to avoid scalding.

I have a LG Punch WF-C5856TC washing machine. Off late, Notice that the water is trickling in rather than flowing. Hence it takes really really long time to wash clothes. Pls advise

The first place to look is the inlet tap in the wall
even you have the tap on full the tap washer inside jams and prevents the full flow of the water
next check out the filter in the hose at the tap or at the washing machine end
next replace the water inlet solenoid
you can check this by changing the hose from the hot water tap onto the cold water tap and pressing the hot water button to fill
solenoids do not know the difference , they just work when the power is applied

No hot water from kitchen tap

The hot side of the faucet is most likely plugged with something that came up thru the water system. The average thankless waterheater requires at least 1/2 to 3/4 gpm flow rate for the unit to sense flow and turn on. If there is not enough flow it will not fire and heat the water. Not sure about this particular unit but a few require at least one full gallon per minute flow. So chances are that if you fix the faucet, you fix the hot water issue at the same time

Noisy water pipes when neighbours use water

Install air chamber to cushion sudden-stop of flowing water.
Water flow coming to sudden stop is called water hammer, and will bang pipes, but also loosen plumbing joints, causing leaks.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-troubleshoot-electric-problems-with-water-heater.html#bang
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Flow-rates-water-hammer-600.jpg

Air chamber has to be vertical, and about 18" long, with cap on top.
By code each Hot and Cold line at each tap will have air chamber located behind the wall. So there are two air chambers at each tap.

In your case, you can probably add air chamber to your Hot and Cold lines and solve problem for both dwellings.

Water hammer is caused because water does not compress like air.
So when long column of water suddenly stops... the whole pipe-full of water comes to sudden halt... and that water could weigh 1-1/2 pounds ... and just like a hammer head moving, the weight of water bangs the pipes to dissipate energy, causing noise.

I have a new uberhaus shower faucet lever type with seperate diverter.prior to install i had no noise problems now i do i have checked all pipes to make sure that they are well atached to framing.i have...

indicates that you have ceramic 1/4 or 1/2 turn inserts in the taps
These taps are very quick action taps and the water flowing is stopped immediately resulting in water hammer
The air chambers you have installed ( accumulators ) may be working but the pipes will suffer the water hammer all the way back to the utility tap on the foot path
Find out the utility pressure to the house and then you may have to install a pressure regulator on the inlet pipe to reduce that pressure to stop the water hammer

No cold water from bathroom tap

Sounds like you need to replace your shower valve, especially if this is the only fixture in the house being affected. You could try to replace the cold water cartridge first. Hope this helps
