Any advice for getting the usb cable to work properly with my Hue when trying to connect to my PC thru Alltell QuickLink Mobile? I keep getting the box saying the usb has malfunctioned. Have exchanged cables, re- downloaded Hue program, been back to store many many times with one problem after another. They are saying now to just get a different phone. Very frustrating

you connect via a usb cable or bluetooth which is a wireless connection. if you have tried connecting with a usb cable, what happens? If the device cannot be seen or recognized by your pc the most common reason is that you dont see a device you plugged in is that you dont have the proper drivers installed on your pc. See what error meesages you get, and troubleshoot! Are you saying your internet connection on your PC is via vodafone usb dongle? This should not affect your ability to connect a mobile phone via a usb cable which should work without being connected to the internet. Its all a question of hsving the correct drivers, but some software wont work with the dongle software, which has to be uninstalled. Troubleshoot for the correct drivers them get technical help from micromax

you must install the pc suit to your computer first then resart it then connect your mobile

the supplied driver may not work But you can drive it by selecting the STANDARD modem option.Let windows write the driver it has from its own stock

If your pc want to recognise your phone, you need to install motorola pc suite in your system. That will be available in the CD that you got with mobile. If you are not having you can download from internet freely from motorola web site. After installing connect your phone to pc through usb cable and open pc suite phone will get recognise.

First of all you should contact your service providers and get the gprs settings and then save the settings

then make a dialler on your system with the phone as the modem or make the phones modem, the modem of the dialer (first of al install the pc suite)

then according to your regional you have to choose the number to dial (for this too you can contact your service provider)

connect your phone to the computer and choose com port. install the drivers. you also need to install the usb modem driver. then set up new dial-up connection with this modem, no user name or password and the number to dial is *99#

hi there 46-79 , you dont say how you are trying to connect the Sony W810i , are you using USB cable or bluetooth to try and connect the W810i ? if your using bluetooth you will need to purchase a bluetooth dongle for the laptop so it can communicate with your mobile.
                        If you are using a usb cable to connect the laptop to your Sony W810i make sure you are using the proper type of usb cable , some usb cables are not suitable for connecting mobiles to a PC or a laptop.visit sony ericcsons website and sign up for free to find out the comaptible types of usb cable for your mobile...

uninstall the software then reinstall it....or change the usb cable
