hi,

this is a tachogenerator fault or the drive motor brushes are faulty. you will need a Miele service tech or a Miele service agent to look at this.

SOURCE: bosch frontload washer will not drain

Hello Mamma5, It sounds like the drain pump is either seized or jammed. The drain pump has an anti jam device in it. Since you have figured out how to get into the drain pump, try turning the inpeller in the back. It will be a little hard to turn as the magnets in the motor will fight you on this. Look close in case there is anykind of thread wrapped around the inpeller. If so, then you can free the pump. If you cannot free it to run, advise the repairman what you found so he can bring a drain pump with him.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Door won't open on Samsung washer

This has happened to me twice. Both times I found the drain pump seized up with
1st time) The right rim from a pair of reading glasses
2nd time) A plastic toothpick
Both times the object was in the discharge port of the pump. You can see this by lifting the check valve with the pump removed. Removing the pump is simple. Unplug the washer. You have to remove the drain line from where its attached to the rear of the machine (one screw) to remove the rear access panel which slides into upper and lower slots. You will see the pump with an inlet and discharge line attached. The lines have simple squeeze clamps. When you remove the lines, you will drain the wash basin so have towels and a squeegie handy. Remove both lines and wait until the basin drains. When it stops draining remove the pumps electrical connector by squeezing the release catch on it while pulling it. The connector can only go on one way. Remove the 3 hold-down bolts on the pump baseplate. Remove the pump and lift open the discharge check valve and you'll find something there I guarantee it. Remove with needle nose pliers and re-assemble in reverse order.
This is actually a good design because the computer protects the pump by sensing a higher than normal current draw when foreign debris gets jammed in it. It will trigger the ND (No Drain) code and sometimes lock the door. Always check this first before you call the expensive repair man. If its not a jammed pump it will most likely be the control panel/processor. Good luck and always clean out pockets before loading the washer to prevent this,

SOURCE: whirlpool duet sport wfw8300sw00 f-21 error

Unplug the machine. Unscrew the 3 screws under the front edge of the washer. The service technician manual is attached to the panel that slides down and off. Find F21 code. See suggested procedures. Note: My drain pump filter had a baby wash cloth in it along with some change that was disrupting the flow. It is exceptionally easy to remove, clean, and reinstall. Just line up installation notches when reinstalling. Whirlpool should have mentioned this filter in the User & Care Guide, but I could not find it anywhere in there.

Hi. The above machine stops mid cycle and drain/fill light is on, also error code F3E, have cleaned both hot and cold water inlet filters, also checked drain pump and drain line, all ok. Machine drains with no issues and fills with hot water, runs for a while then shuts down.
Any ideas?

Door will not open if machine not emptied immediately cycle ends

This is an anti-flood protection, since water would flood the kitchen if you could open the door. If the machine shuts down for some fault and leaves the drum with water in, then it is advisable to drain the drum down via the small hose at the front of the machine. Simply remove the plug and empty into a large container until the drum is empty. You can then start to work out why the cycle ceased prematurely.

Miele W1712 honeycomb care front loader the door will not unlock after cycle has finished, it has been 24 hrs

Try unplugging the washer's electrical connection, wait for about 20 seconds then plug back in. See if that resets your cycle to Start mode from an unfinished mode. If not, see if you start another cycle, such as a spin to complete any draining of water. It might have blockage that is keeping the water from draining thus thinking the cycle is not over - or- a bad sensor not telling the computer that the cycle is over and it's OK to release the door lock.

What is code error F50 on my miele W3725 washing machine mean

I have today purchased a Miele 3985 machine with a know F50 Fault code appearing

Before I went to the expense of calling a Miele technician, I explored the blocked / clogged drain path

I removed the drain pipe and noticed there was a lot of 'residue' / gunk in there

I cleaned what I could, and blew through the pipe back into the machine

Then I did a cotton wash cycle at 90degrees, with a 1litre of bleach to clean the drain path

The wash looked extremely dirty during the cycle

It appears that this resolved the F50 fault code issue with my Miele 3985 Navitronic

Help! My front loader "duet"

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

Based on your description specifically the door not unlocking combined with the unit not spinning adequately or as you stated "having trouble with getting spin cycle to spin out water" I'd suggest you check the pump filter and sub-components, i.e. back flow ball, drain hose etc.

Here's a link to my solution or explaination to guide you through checking these things. Typically this is associated with an error of F2, F21, or "suds" but not always.

http://www.fixya.com/support/r9090359-whirlpool_frontload_f2_f21_sd_suds

As for unlocking the door, it's a good idea to get the water out first, but in any event to do so is as follows...

Once you remove the service panel at the bottom (as shown in my "repair tip") there is a manual latch release just below the lock latch assembly that you may be able to see visually or feel for by reaching up to the latch and pull the small "loop" below the lock...this is a image of what you'll be looking for.

Door is locked code F21 wont run or cycle or empty water

First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out

My Washer is flashing an error message. F27

Error code f27

OVERFLOW CONDITION
If the overflow contact on the pressure switch is closed for more than 60 seconds, an Overflow Condition occurs. In an
overflow condition, the door remains locked and the drain pump runs constantly, even if PAUSE/CANCEL is pressed twice and the display is cleared. Turn off hot and cold water faucets and unplug the unit before servicing.

Check

1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch, water inlet value, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
5. Check for drain pump failure.
6. Check the inlet valve for proper shut off.
7. Check the pressure switch for proper operation.

Good luck

Miele

Clean the drain by opening the door on the bottum left.
Use the yellow plastic thingy in the front of the soap drawer to do it.

You can open the machine door by pulling the yellow tag in the bottom door.
Drain the water through the filter, clean the filter and close.

Then unplug the machine and tilt it forward by about 1 foot until you see water coming out of the bottom (put towel on floor).

Plug back in and voila!

I do think that this machine is a major pain. No spin cycle and this kind of stuff to go through. Anyone want to buy mine?
