Your screen mask may have become magnetized. This will require that you have the CRT degaussed. This is done with the use of a degaussing coil. you have to stand about 10 feet from the TV with the coil held vertically and moving it in a circular pattern as you walk towards the tv. Once you are about 1-2 inches from the TV stop and continue the circular pattern for about a three count then backup from the tv still using the circular motion once you are about 10 feet from the tv turn the coil to a horizontal plane and move it away quickly and turn it off. This should degauss the TV and remove the color distortion.

You will need a degaussing coil to perform this task.

Thank you,

    Hello,

    A degaussing coil can cost fro $49.00 - $60.00 depending on the one you buy. The cost of having a person Degauss your TV is from $100.00 to $250.00 depending on their house call policy.

    Just to give you an example, at my shop I charge $60.00 for the degaussing and $40.00 per 20 mile radius for the house call so the base price is $100.00 + $40.00 for each additional 20 miles I have to drive. One customer lived in Sterling Va which is 52 miles from my shop. They ended up paying $180.00. This will give you an idea of the possible cost to you, for someone to come out.

    Now to defer this cost you could take your TV into a shop, this will end up being about $60.00 - $80.00.

    I hope this helps,

    Thank you,

    Shuttle83

I have a Bush RF6685VPL/A and the screen colour is very distorted. It looks like a blue red circle in the middle, with a blue and green ring around it.

Good day!

That problem is usually happen when the TV is near the magnet or the speaker.

You have to do is demagnetized the screen of your TV using screen Degausser.

The picture looks like this:
nineng_7.jpg

Just plug-in the degausser and push the button in front of your TV.

If you did not have that degausser please buy it to this link:

ShubhangiWe try to connect CD player with Samsung LCD TV. CD Player is having Three Component Yellow, Red,White. It dont have Blue and green components.What to do ???

Hi, Component input connectors use the colour convention
Green = Y (luminance signal)
Red = Pr or Cr (Red colour difference signal)
Blue = Pb or Cb (Blue colour diffrence signal)

Composite input connectors use the colour convention
Yellow = CVBS (composite video, blanking, sync)
Red = Audio Right
White = Audio Left

for compatibility both units will need to have matching colours. note the component inputs do not have audio and as such will also have a set of red & white connectors for use with the audio signals too ( rule of thumb Component = 5 connectors, composite=3 connectors)

Pulsing screen

Are you getting this on all video outputs from the DVD? the yellow analog out + the red/blue/green + the S video? Did you try connecting a different source? a digital cable TV tuner, or another DVD player? sometimes DVD players get screwed on some outputs, while the rest stay fine. I have a DVD that has an analog video out that shows an only black and white picture, while the red/blue/green works fine. Good luck
