Is it okay to pack Curcumin capsules in a suitcase which will go in the hold of a jet for 10 or 12 hours. Or should I put them in a carryon bag?

How can I open a Mia toro carryon with a combination lock?

Is this the TSA 3 digit combo lock on the suitcase? I found a couple of Youtube videos that show how to determine what the code is for your lock. Some of them have a reset button but this technique I think works just as well. Give her a gander.

Hope this helps, if its not the TSA lock let me know. I will find a good hack for you. If this did work let me know that too. Thank you.

Tip

Traveling light- its not always what you pack

Since most airlines have started to charge for checked luggage there have been a lot of people turning to carry ons. The probelm is that people are still trying to pack the same amount of stuff into a carry on as they would into a checked bag but with a few simple tips you can drop the weight of your carry on by a lot.

Before you even start to think about the clothes that you want to take with you look at the bag you are packing in. Does it have wheels and a handle? Do you really need a wheeled carry on? If you are traveling by car or plane then chances are you aren't going to be doing too much carrying of your carry on so the wheeles can be a luxury that you may not really need. bags with wheels and hendles can add up to 3 pounds to your bag! So if you can go with out maybe you should.

The times that I have packed in a soft bag like a small duffel I was able to fit more and still be able to fit the bag into the over head bin. A lot of times you will see people trying to force their over sized carry ons into those tiny over head bins. If you cut out the hard surfaces of the bag you will not only cut out a few extra pounds from the weight of the bag but you will also have a much easier time fitting the bag into the over head bin. Not to mention that if you have to move quickly in the airport sometimes carrying your bag on your back is faster and easier to navigate than a rolling bag.

Is it worth spending the money on packing cubes or folders? or are there better ways to organize your things in a suitcase?

Packing cubes or folders can be a great way of separating your items in a suitcase when you travel or in your drawers at home etc. If you are a very disorganized person, they can help you keep things together ie all your jumpers or underwear, but it's not cheap if you buy a lot of them.
Some people use ziploc bags or old tupperware containers to achieve the same effect. So it really depends on your budget.
Good luck.

What are packing cubes?

Packing cubes are lightweight fabric made cubes (not always in a square shape) that let you separate your clothes and items into different sections. They are great for traveling to put inside a suitcase and make your unpacking much easier.

Whenever I travel I can never pick out my duffel bag from the suitcase collector belt at the airport. Everyone else's look exactly like mine. Help!

You can attach a colorful ribbon to the handle or draw a smiley face on the top with permanent marker. Another good idea is to buy a really bright colorful suitcase to pick it out of the crowd. I have this one and I can always find it.

Am I allowed to bring fencing gear on an airplane?

You can definitely put all fencing gear in a checked bag but you will likely be prevented from keeping it in your carryon baggage.

My rode just stopped working, any ideas. It's had a very easy life just home studio work and always put away in it's bag

Possible if used for close mic singing, moisture and spit can get to the capsule, which can eventually damage the capsule. Especially if it is always put away in it's bag after usage. Check your basic stuff like...mic cable, phantom power supply, channel on the console, anything obvious.
