The lid on my crock pot shattered after being washed in a dishwasher, if there is a one year warranty how do i go about getting the lid replaced and what on earth caused it to do this when it is supposed to be able to handle high heat?
Take it back to the shop you bought it from with the packaging if you still have it, and the receipt which you will need. If you don't have the receipt anymore try contacting the manufacturer, they will be able to determine if it is still in warranty from its serial number.
It could be vibration inside the dishwasher rather than heat that caused it to break though I would say it happened while cooking when you return it in case they try and make out that is isnt dishwasher proof
