I was deleting a picture on my 2gb zen and then it froze with the deleting sign.It was like that for a couple of seconds so i switched it off.then I couldnt put it back on again.I then tried to charge it but it wouldnt come up on my laptop saying the removable disk was not in drive.i thought maybe its what happened last time when my battery was low so i thought i would just reset it.I was able to charge it but after i took it out and switched it back on the creative zen introduction graphic would only come up but not direct me to the music.????
Ii can recharge it and see the creative zen introcudtion graphic but not listen/see to music or put music on it.
ive tried everything.reseting it.it just doesnt work.
id be happy to say its dead, but it bugs me that i still switch it on/charge it,but not listen/see music XD.
and i have no warranty but all the music is replaceable so thats good :)
does anyone have a solution or tell me its dead or sumthing. I NEED RELEASE.

delete 'em when connected to the pc..I post a driver just in case ya do not have 'em http://cameras-and-mp3-player.free-driver-download.com/40562/Creative-ZEN-4GB-8GB-16GB-MP3-Player-Firmware-1.13.01-Windows-XP(x32-x64)-Vista(x32).html
Try reseting the ZEN. There should be a tiny reset button on the bottom left side, you might have to use a staple or paperclip or pencil tip to reach the button. Your music, pictures, and videos should all still be able to work. If this doesn't work I don't know what to do.
I had the same repeating problem with my Zen V Plus 2GB. There is a tiny hole on the left side of the player, underneath the on/off switch. Stick a paperclip in there and press gently to reset your player. I lived for 6 months letting the battery wear itself out before I discovered this reset hole. I finally found the offending piece of music and deleted it from the player. I haven't had any problems with my Zen freezing since deleting that song. Pay attention to whether it always freezes on the same media, that might be the source of your problem.
If your Zen V is dead, wont respond to anything, try this, plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch in the on position, THEN trigger the reset button, worked like a charm for mine, I had thought it a lost cause." Q. How to reset Zen v + http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22T_gkkZjmM&feature=related
Why does technology make you work for what you already paid good money for? Have you tried going into Recovery Mode? You do this by holding down the Play/Pause button while triggering the Reset button. Once there, you have four options. Try selecting Disk Cleanup and then Reboot. You might need to re-Sync a few things but it's worth a shot. Good luck.
This is important; because, if you cannot get into Recovery Mode, then
this is a sure sign of a bricked player. You could try a forced hard
reset by going in and disconnecting the battery, but chances are, the
player is bricked.
