Did you cut out the factory harness?? You can go down to your local car audio shop and they will have the aftermarket adapter that color codes the cd player wires. You can make the connections to the adapter and then just plug it in to the factorys harness. WalMart might even have the harness for your vehicles make and model. I have a 2000 Voyager and it should use the same harness as yours. The only thing I had to do was find a chassis ground. The factory harness has no ground connection. Here is the no cut aftermarket wiring adapters:

See an auto sparks ,or take to a local radio fitting shop ,no good telling me here because colours of wires can vary between manufacturers of both the radios and the vehicles

What's all need to install a aftermarket radio in a 05 Dodge caravan? Been awhile since I did it yrs before but the wife's van radio is going out CD player and radio itself

Radio, aftermarket radio kit(used to mount the radio), and an aftermarket wire plug. This plugs into the radio and your existing harness. Otherwise you have to cut and splice wires. I use a volt /ohm meter to cut and splice.

My cd player in my 08 dodge grand caravan won't continue to play the songs after I turn the van off, when I start it up again, the cd starts over from the beginning. ....how do I fix this?

Sounds like a cd player that is an after market.... just hook up the power wire to a battery always live fuse... ie a power connection that isn't interrupted by the ignition. however be sure that the radio doesn't have an anti theft system or as soon as the Power wire is disconnected the radio will have to be reset.... there should be a wiring diagram on the top of the radio or on the bk... look for the wire marked memory and hook the power wire up to the same spot on the fuse box.... the memory wire runs the clock, channel selection and anything else that needs power at all times, even when the ignition is off and the keys are removed so it will be a great spot to hook your power wire to also... just splice into that wire with a splicer but, if your system is a high powered system run an independent wire from the battery through the fire wall so you do not blw a fuse or cause a fire.

I have a cd/radio player from a 200 dodge van, and I want to put it in my 1998 Ram truck ?

If the radios do not have the same connections on them, you can buy a wiring harness from a car stereo dealer in your area. If you are lucky, the radios will have the same connectors, and the one radio will just plug into the other vehicle and work fine. cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-0.jpg cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-1.jpg cd-radio-player-from-200-dodge-van-want-21syibu3fgwpdxocjnkpw0ib-3-2.jpg

My 2002 Dodge Ram cd Player doesnt work. My radio will work but my cd player wont. I put a cd in it and it says track 00/00 and does nothing, What should I do?

The player is shot! I have a 2002 Grand Caravan SE that had a similar situation with it when I bought it. You're better off putting in an after-market player.

WIRING CHANGE FOR 2002 DODGE CARAVAN

Your best bet on that one is to go to a place that sells car audio systems or even some autoparts retailers have them, and get the proper adapter harness already made up. A few more dollars but, a whole lot less headaches.

Led lights do not work on radio/cd player. no station/time displ

Work in car audio for a living. dodge caravan's are notorious for having there cd player's **** out. if the led display is out the built in reducers for the display power supply are more then likely shot. head to a junk yard and pull one out if you want to keep it stock :)
can prob get it from them for about 20 buck's and it will plug right in were the old one did. or you can go after market head unit (125-900$ at any electronic's store) buy a harness (about 18$) and a mounting kit (25$) for the easyist install :)
hope this helped

Wiring difference

If your installing a stock radio/cd player from another Dodge the wiring plug is the same and will fit.If your installing a aftermarket radio/cd player(JVC,Pioneer, etc)you will need to buy a adapter plug that wires up to the radio and is a direct fit to your factory wire harness,so your not cutting your wires. When you buy the adapter plug it comes with a wire diagram of which wire is what.Your aftermarket radio should have a diagram also, either on it or in the manual.Hope this helps you.
