SOURCE: Hi i have Fujitronic FA-1300

Before assuming it needs to be recharged with refrigerant gas, check the following. As all of these things can affect the cooling,

1. Remove and clean the air intake filter.

2. Check exhaust hoses for obstructions.

3, Exhaust hoses may have to much downward droop. Which doesn't allow the air to exhaust as it
should.

4. check for holes or leaks in the exhaust hoses. Repair or replace the hoses as needed.

5. Check the temperature setting on the controls, as it may be set to high.

If none of the above solves the problem, it may need to be recharged with refrigerant gas. hich is best left to the pros.

I hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a PACRWC-HP. We only use it for short periods during Seattle summers. Now in it's third year, it does not evaporate the water filling the small overload every hour. Can it be fixed or should...

Jerry, Windchaser has been out of business for about 5 or 6 months. So, if it requires parts to fix the problem, it will difficult to find them. But, before you properly scrap the unit, check several of the things, that may be causing the problem.

1. The air intake filter may be dirty or clogged. Remove and clean thoroughly, if necessary.

2. The exhaust hose may be drooping from the unit to the window outlet. This allows condensation
to accumulate in the hose, rather than exhaust out the window.

3. Obstruction in exhaust hose will cause the same thing as in # 2. Remove the hose check & clear
any obstructions, as necessary.

I hope this has helped you troubleshoot, find and solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

My exhaust hose has a tear. where can I get a replacement

You can find a substitute at any home center. In the Heating & AC Parts section of the store. Just be sure to get the same diameter and use the existing connectors off the old one.
