Question about Turbo Air Refrigerators
If you look at the walls, the exact median point of the unit you can see frozen/ice on the right and room temp on the left. Any idea how to get the "broken" side to cool or explain why the vast difference of temperature exactly at the median point?

Could be blocked by ice formation. Leave switched off for a few hours with the door open to allow to defrost.

Your condenser where the heat is removed from the refrigeration system may be plugged with dust. The condenser is more than likely located in back of the refrigerator behind a removable panel. Remove the panel and clean it out. Reinstall the panel after you have cleaned the condenser.
Check the back wall of the freezer for frost buildup. If there is frost buildup on the back wall it indicates that there is a problem in the defrost circuit.
Note: The proper term is "More mature individual" , not old.

Your defrost system is at fault.
With this brand it is most likely the defrost thermostat and defrost heater located behind the back freezer panel.
Remove the shelves and bin, then remove the freezer panel. Defrost the ice manually.
Replace the thermostat and heater assembly.
