SOURCE: AC fan motor keeps burning out bearings

The problem is the fan mounting screws are comming loose and causes the fan blades to be knoed out of balance, it is a poor design and the fans are made of aluminum so get them to replace the fan and add plumers tape tothe motor on the bottom and runt the metel tape up to the frame so that the motor does not wiggle and knock the blades again. I won't mention the name of the company but it has been a problem for them for a few years. Alll they would have to do is add a metel bracket to hold the motor solid and put rubber mounts on them.

What capacitors do i need to get to replace the ones on a 6 hp motor

Due to the nature of power factor correction and other sizing criteria it is best to open the can on the motor that protects the capacitor and order a comparable unit for capacitance, number of sections (- ie, start/run versus Start or Run) plus capacity and working volts AC. Unless ordering from the original compressor supply company, most parts houses will not have a cross reference with that data.

SHARP-235, lp 6-10 CALL FOR SERVICE CODE...Sep 2010 ... What does error code L6-10 mean on a Sharp AR-235 ... my machine sharp a 235 say call for service lp 6-10 what dos it mean

L6 10 Content Polygon motor lock trouble

Details The polygon motor does not rotate.

The motor lock signal is detected for 6sec

or more after the polygon motor rotates.

The motor lock signal is detected for 1sec

during rotation of the polygon motor.

Cause Polygon motor unit failure

Polygon motor connection harness trouble

or disconnection

MCU PWB failure

Check the polygon motor operation with

SIM 61-1.

Check connector/harness of polygon

Replace the polygon motor.
Replace the MCU PWB.

If the polygon motor isn't working then you will neeto buy a new Laser Unit. They can be expensive if you can get one. To replace it will tak alot of disassembly as well. Might be better and more cost effective to get a new machine.

The pump has been louder for a couple of weeks and after I stopped it to clean the spa filter, it won't start. Sounds likes it's seized

I had that happen when the spa was off for 10 days. I took the pump and wet end out, and managed to turn the shaft to free it. It has rusted up in place.
6 months later it started the loud noise and started getting worse - the motor bearing at the wet end was seizing up. I replaced motor and wet end just in time.

My Volcano EPX Pro was purchased rtr. With a fully charged battery, if I punch the throttle wide open, instead of a smooth, quick take off, I get a herky, jerky start. After a couple of seconds its...

So I have the same problem with mine, and it's fairly new. It looks like its a combination of two things. One the ESC isn't working properly and needs to be replaced (hopefully the company I bought my truck from will replace, I still haven't heard back from them), and two the gearing seems to be abnormal, the team at my local hobby store recommended a small gear on the motor (the stock is 17 and the buy at the store seemed to think that it was huge) so if you get a small one (15 pinion I think is the terminology) it puts less stress on the motor. The top speed will be reduced apparently but the gearing problem is resolved. Other things they suggested where replacing the metal main diff gear with a plastic one, or lighter material one as well; hope that helps; if the company doesn't replace my esc I am strongly considering buying a new motor/esc combo from the hobby store and hopefully sort out both problems with one purchase.

My Ionic Pro Turbo will not stay on for more than a few minutes at a time. Any ideas for making it stay on?

10/6/10 I work for the Ionic Pro company. The unit is designed in such a way that it cannot blow out air continuously... it blows the air for sometime then it takes the air into the back and applies the purification process. Once inside the air is cleaned then it is blown out the front. This why some customers feel that it is not working... but in reality it still functions. As long as you have a power light and the air in cycling through the unit, it is working fine. If the unit still has an issue, you can call customer service at 800-875-8577. Thank you.

I replaced compressor for a hussman refrig and its hums loud

God day,
Some thoughts.
1. Are the evap fan motors running, and at full speed. That would give you abnormally low suction pressure.
2. Cap tube sized too small. or partial restriction in the dryer cap tube/dryer when brazing in the lines.
3. Low ambient. What's the temp the machine is running in.
4. Over sized compressor.
5. Moisture. God, 134A is touchy on that one.
6. Was original cap tube soldered to the suction line to create a heat exchanger. Needed on many apps. Definately would cause flash back on start up.
7. Superheat a little low, should be 12 to 15 degrees.

AC fan motor keeps burning out bearings

Hopefully they have replaced the start and run capacitors for these motors and they are rated properly by voltage and microfarad specs. These capacitors properly start the motors during each run cycle and are a vital component to the motors well being and operation. Replace capacitors
