Question about Ps Car Audio & Video

PS Audio Stellar M700 mono amplifier has two positive and two negative Outputs, arranged in a row.(-.+,-,+) My question is how to connect speaker cable with two ends.

Each sub woofer has a + and - post. They connect the same to the amp. However if the sub woofers have dual posts then the wiring changes

Hello Rayzberg, to connect a speaker to the PS Audio Stellar M700, you have to do it using a single pair of terminals, one positive (+) and the other negative (-)
You will connect the positive (+) speaker to one of the terminals (+) of the amplifier and the negative (-) of the speaker to the negative (-) terminal of the amplifier
In this way, a speaker will be connected to your PSAudio Stellar M700 amplifier

Hola Rayzberg, para conectar un parlante al PS Audio Stellar M700, tienes que hacerlo usando un solo par de bornes, uno positivo(+) y el otro negativo (--)
Conectaras el positivo(+) de parlante a uno de los bornes (+) del amplificador y el negativo(--) de parlante al borne negativo(--) del amplificador
De esta manera, estar? conectado un parlante a tu amplificador PSAudio Stellar M700

ok i have the same amp and 1 2ohm dvc sub and was woundering the same thing but from futher research and askin sum xsperts. What i found out is that it is only one channel and even tho there are 2 (+) and 2(-) they actually connect inside the amp makein it one . so if u wanted to wire sumthing parralel u wouldnt have to hook wires from one coil to the other on the speaker , u can just hook it up to the amp. so basically both +'s and negatives on the amp are actually one within it so all the power if you only use one set of them and if u wanna add more subs its just easier to add to the amp by using the xtras .

What you are proposing will not work.
You can EITHER use the Line inputs OR high level speaker inputs.

Using the line inputs, your L&R line level signals pass through the sub on their way to a stereo amp, then speakers.

Using the Speaker inputs, your L & R speaker cables connect from your amp (or PC speaker outputs) to the "Speaker input" terminals. The "Speaker output" terminals then connect to your speakers.

this is a mono block amplifier ,both positives are the same inside the amp and both negatives are the same ,there is 4 terminals to make it easier to wire 2 speakers . Use either positive and either negative ,with this speaker ,inside the box you can wire both positives together and negatives together (parrallel) this should be 3 ohms and the amp should run smoothly ,maybe a little warm but that amp can take it .

if you have the model number handy i can tell you

but most sonys are marked like this ..

+12v goes directly to the + termanl on the battry
GND goes to a solid metal object on the car (ground)
REM remote turnon goes to the remote turn on from your headunit

unbridged speaker outputs
+L positve left speaker
-L negative left speaker
+R positive right speaker
-R negative right speaker


ok to bridge a amp (must be capabul of doing so) look for a mono switch and set to mono ..

then take the +L channel put it to your subs + and take the -R channel and put it to the - of your sub

also set the cross over switch to LPF if your running bridged for a sub

if that is a bit hard to understand msg back with the model number of the amp and i can get u the orignal manual for the wireing diagram

I have a jesen ka5 5channel amp plus mono and i dont know how to hook up the subs to the mono
Ok, you're going to choose 1 set of inputs for the subs on the amp (I usually use the low or rear which ever has more settings) Now in the output side you're going to use the positive side of the right side speaker and the negative side of the left side speaker (you can switch left or right as long as they are opposite sides). Lets start with the negative wire connect it to the negative input on one of the subs, connect the positive wire to the positive input on the OTHER sub, then get an extra wire to connect the inputs not used on both subs. Adjust settings in amp and radio and if it doesn't sound good use negative and positive outputs from one single output (only left or only right) Hope this helps.

For a 1ohm load it's positive to positive and negative to negative run 1 wire from one speaker to the other. Positive to positive neg to neg. Then 1 wire from the speakers to the amp. The amp will have + - + - on it's inputs for left and right speakers (if stereo) Use the outside positive and outside negative. If there are any switches on the amp that say "mono" "stereo" switch to "mono". Hope this helps

How to install this amp properly?
The amp is a mono amp with only one output channel so it cannot be bridged. You'll use one positive and one negative per speaker. The positive speaker terminals are connected together and the negative speaker terminals are connected together so it doesn't matter which you use for the individual speakers.

Problem with hifonics 1505 class d mono
The positives are connected together and the negatives are connected together. The two pairs of terminals are for convenience. You'd connect one speaker to a pair of positive/negative terminals and you'd connect the other speaker to the remaining pair of positive/negative terminals.

You need to confirm that you have a good signal feeding the amp. If you have another amp in the vehicle, swap the RCA cables between the amps to see if it makes a difference.

You also need to confirm that the speaker are working properly and that there are no broken connections in the wires. If you disconnect the speaker wires from the amp and touch the wires across a D-cell battery (for a fraction of a second), the speaker should pop. if it doesn't, check the wiring to determine why.

Sub hook up to PPI D3000 amp
I'm not familiar with this amplifier but in most cases, if a mono amp has more than one positive speaker terminal and more than one negative speaker terminal, the positives are directly connected and the negatives are directly connected. So  as long as you connect the speaker positive to a positive speaker terminal of the amp and the speaker negative to a negative speaker terminal of the amp, it will work properly.

Mono amps often have two sets of speaker outputs; this is just to simplify multi-speaker connections. The two positive and negative terminals are connected together internally, so they're effectively the same as one terminal. There's no difference between connecting both subs to the same positive and negative terminals, or using different terminals for each sub; electrically they'll all be connected together either way.
