I have 32inch jvc TV dvd combo I need the code for the remote iv tried 8541 no good thanks

Unfortunately, the JVC LP21036-038 remote can only control JVC devices. It doesn't have any adjustable codes. You can choose between 3 codes (A, B, and C) so that using 3 JVC video devices doesn't result in conflicts. This remote came with the JVC HR-XVC14BU among other devices. See page 17 of the manual for the details.

I'd recommend you get a cheap universal remote to control the Samsung TV and the JVC vcr/dvd player.

Each universal remote have certain code for each TV, read the manual for code, match the code with your JVC.

Go video remote for dvd/vcr recorder combo; you program TV by 2 digit codes. press TV power down when TV is powered on; and input 11 for JVC TV, or 03 for GE TV. You can experiment any two digit codes until TV shut down, then you have just finished programing n150b remote. This also work for all LG dvd/vcr combo recorder remote such as 6711RN203A..

The problem is that it does not list the steps to program the remote after you have the correct code. Does anybody have this information?
