No you cannot. The troubleshooting on this model is intense and takes hours if done as per the manual. If you are having problems with the door lock or it isn't spinning out properly, it has been my experience that the shift lock actuator (W10006355) is bad.

Well thanks everyone for answering these questions. Apparently not a single one of you that support the completely ignorant of how to properly do laundry and extremely annoying lid lock. Even when the thing worked I wanted to bypass.... As it's the most annoying pos on earth. Now that I know that there is no way to properly bypass that switch I will gladly put this product where it and as I'm now convinced all crosley products belong in the trash. And I'll never buy anything from them again. They clearly don't take the time to research how anyone with good common sense does things. For the record Crosley if you happen to stumble upon this message. On a top load washer you let it fill a quarter of the way up before adding things like soaps and bleach. So as to properly care for the fabrics you put in there. Then you actually put the clothing in and start the machine. Being forced to destroy say a white 120 dollar affliction shirt because you have to poor bleach and soap directly on the clothes and shut the lid while all the products used can nicely soak stain and destroy your clothing for a whole whopping 30 seconds before the thing even starts to think about actually doing something is the most ignorant garbage I've ever used. But that's how you care for your customers cool.. I want no part of your corporation of any company affiliated with you.

uplug power. remove switch, then tape the wires together. this will make a complete curcuit, so it should run. good-day !

verify lid switch is good. u can do this by bypassing switch with jumper wire. unit will not spin out if it detects that the lid is open. if switch is bad then it thinks the lid is open when its really not
