You probaby dont have enough memory on your card or your messages are being automatically saved to your SIM which i think you can change by going to messages options

Press "Menu".
In the menu go to the symbol (wrench and camera).
Go to the "image storage" and choose "Internal".
Leave the menu. Press "preview". You'll see only pic's from the internal memory.
Press "Menu" ... "Copy" and choose all.
After that go back to "image storage" and choose "Auto"

Go to contacts. Hit the contact you want to copy to sim. At the bottom right it says MORE. Touch that and the option to copy to sim is there.
