Hello Guys,
I have a strange problem ! My DC12 started printing very ugly ! when I print a raster with smooth gradients, the gradient seems like cut in the middle. In the FIERY test page,
the CMYK scale is crazy , so is the RGB! the 20% density is darker than 30 %. I tried calibration with X-rite densitomer. It helped a little for the CYAN and YELLOW, but MAGENTA AND BLACK are still with problem. Any suggestions! I tried a cobra rip - the same problem ! No one engineer in my town can't help, because they haven't seen such problem ! You have experience, plase advice !
here is sample for my words !

We're having the same problem, but with our DCCS 50
As far as the tests I've done, it seems that the problem is in some of the boards. I tried the VCL board on another machine, it was OK, so the problem is not in the VCL. My suggestiton is that the problem board is the board where the RIP cable connects the machine. It is a small one on the back of the copier/printer. But to be sure I have to buy another machine and to test on it, which I intend to to soon. Very, very ugly situation .... :(((
We just solved the problem ! The VCL extension board is FAULTY - the board in which the fiery cable goes in !!!! 100 %
