Easy fix, All you need is a Streaming Media Device (SMD) to add apps to a " smart tv"
And OMG this is very common issue, especially products like this that are made for Walmart or engineered & packaged in partnership with Walmart & are almost exclusively sold by wal-mart. They put all the junk you want to see on the box, So you will impulsively buy it, because it's cheaper than anything else you have seen in 6 months. And it's not what we think it is.....
There is no "computer" per say inside to be able to use a browser the apps do not update the way your phone or computer does
For instances;
Let's say your New tv's Has Netflix app already installed & it is is version Netflix 2.0
But the latest version available is version Netflix 3.2
So Smart tv's may continue to only be able to use Netflix 2.0 which would be old school by the time you've purchased the t.v.
Which makes you go back to Walmart to either buy a new tv or another gadget from them.
Simple fix though.

Medium price, medium results, High usefulness, downloads updates , connections are limited If you have iPhones or iOS devices this is as good as the PlayStation per say. 32g memory as much as the newer phones have. Mostly for iOS snobs like me, Team Android will not enjoy this.

plug & play this or Roku or any other cheap SMD, it's the
modern day Dish or Satellite tv . updates automatically, no other connections available, adds a remote to your collection. Low memory.
I Very Highly recommended this for every Mother (or Parent) on our planet.

The best is the Amazon fire stick. For best sound set the fire stick to bitstream which has surround sound. Dolby is ok but doesn't do surround sound. In future I won't buy an RCA tv. Only bought two, one they have updates for and this piece of trash rhos581sm that gives an unknown serial number message when trying to update. It won't update apps like Netflix and has other ones that only work I the us.

I bought an Amazon 4k fire stick just for travel as my tvs at home work fine. I can say no matter what tv I hook my fire stick 4k up to it works great. It doesn't control any television but most. Controls my sony, and anothet but the one rca it can just adjust volume. Although that is just the one tv I have found so far it can't control.
Get an Amazon Firestick. It's cheap and can add all the apps you want. It plugs into an HDMI port on the TV and has a remote.

Make sure you have it set to wireless off in the menu or it will not recognise the ethernet port on the back even if it is flashing. Most tvs with browsers come with the wirless function set to on. Also if it has search for internet signal you could try this to get it to rec. as well.

2. Go to Applications
3. Go to Manage applications
4. Go to all tabs
5. Gp to "Market" applications
6. "Clear Cache" then "force stop" - DO NOT CLEAR DATA
7. Now go to "google service framework" applications
8. "Clear data" then "force stop"
9/ Reboot your machine/

First you should register your android device in google apps store using your gmail ID. IF you are first time using internet your google apps store upgraded into google play. It ill take some time to upgrade. If updates successfully done then you can access all apps through google play
