If the unit is showing "no disk" on every disk that you try to play, unfortunately, the unit has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. It can not be repaired. Our warranty is 90 days from the date of purchase. If you received the unit as a Xmas present, please call 1-800-727-3592 for instructions on getting the unit exchanged.

It is a problem of the optical head being covered up by foreign particles obscuring the optical lens. Try using a CD/DVD cleaner disc which has double brushes and one add some solvent which comes along with the pack.Simply play it & keep ejecting and inserting the disc makes the disc to spin, till your player starts reading it..............................sodeep

you can reset the settings through the menu, its under the advanced option in the menu. however, its not a regional error, if it was in the wrong region, it would say wrong region and not wrong disk, try putting the region back to 1 or 0 or 9, 1 is USA, 9 and 0 are all regions.
If everything else seems to be functioning, try using your remote to reset the TV. There is a setting to switch the TV from being a TV to being a screen, or monitor, for the DVD player. What the button is labeled varies by manufacturer. It may be: TV/DVD, input, source, display, or something else. Display, for instance, displays the choice on the screen.
