Question about Hitachi Televison & Video
SOURCE: Schematics forpower supply
Go to this site: http://pinouts.ru/pin_Power.shtml.
It should have the pinout info you need. If you're intending to fix the unit, you can get a replacement (with more power) at this site for less than $20, including shipping: http://www.geeks.com/.

I think you missed one cap. Look for another 1ufd cap close to the jungle chip. It will have the circuit designation in the 300's like the others in the vertical circuit. It is just not located close by. I think that one will fix it.I don't have the service data with me so I can't give you the exact designation.

Most USB hubs do not need an external power supply, except when a connected USB device draws more power than the computer/laptop USB port can supply. In this case an external power supply will need to be connected to the USB hub.
Normally this would be a 5 volt power supply, but make sure the polarity on the connector matches the power connector on the hub, check the label on the hub, sometimes it states to power requirements of the hub as well as the polarity on the connector. Normally the pin on the hub's power connector is positive (ie. +5V)

Do NOT open a power supply!!!! Proceed with caution: When finding a new power supply, make sure the voltage is the same and the amperage is less than or equal to the original power supply.
