I really love this vacuum. I have been using it since my kids were born. It's very good especially in my family where I have two severely allergic kids. I still remember how scared I was when my first born had this crazy anaphylactic reaction and he couldn't breathe. We rushed him to the hospital where they gave him a shot of epinephrine. After that we made an appointment with a child allergist. After an initial examination he agreed that it looked like allergies rather then asthma so he collected some blood and sent it to a private lab (You can check them here: https://www.intolerancelab.co.uk/intolerance-2 ) About a week later they called us in and told us that our son was allergic. It has been a struggle to keep him from ever experience something like that again because he's a kid and wants to explore. But we managed. And this vacuum has been very helpful too.
SOURCE: No suction
I had a a low suction problem. Mine was easily fixed. Stand in front of the machine. When you remove the recovery tank there are the notches on the front of the tank that fit down into the machine. In the right hole in which the right notch fits, there should be a black rubber washer on the machine. Mine somehow came off and feel into the machine therefore there was practically no suction as the seal was not airtight. I only discovered this when I took apart the machine and found it floating around. Just something to check.

Either the machine or hose is blocked OR the filters are blocked.
Also possible that the belt is broken.

Thanks

You have a clogged hose. Sometimes a Q-tip or something like that gets sucked up and then stuff jams up against it. You can use a long stiff wire with a hook bent in the end to reach the jam and work it loose. Just be very careful not to poke the wire through the hose! Work slowly and get the clog out a bit at a time.
The clogged hose would also account for the red light.

very easy. you have clog. take the brush off look where the hole is thats where the clog is. it might be in there you might have to take the housing off of the motor
