Kodak i260 Ready but Can't feed paper Red LED on

I had same problem. Upgrading the firmware on the scanner fixed it all.

Either the papers are sticky or there may be a stapler. Remove the stapler pins. This can happen if the papers were bound together, the small notches can imitate the stapler pin! Fan the documents and try again.

Have you experience a paper jam prior to this problem? Open all access doors and look closely inside. Check for any tiny paper shreds that might be stuck in between the rollers or might be jamming the mechanism. Then turn off the printer and pull the power plug from the source; then power it back on.
