Question about Whirlpool Dishwashers

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher model no: DU945PWSO0 that will not start.

The control panel will light up when I push a control, but will not start. I have attempted to reset by pushing heated dry, then normal, then heated dry and normal again, which I have read is the reset code. I also tried heated dry, then high temp twice, which I also have read is the code. I have also tried each with the door open, which I have also read is right. None of them work. I need more suggestions.

There is a sequence to reset. Firstly open the door then press heated dry normal heated dry normal within three seconds of each other

On a my Whirlpool dishwasher model DU1100the Pots and pan light is flashing. pushing cancel just causes the cancel light to flash as well
You more than likely need a new control panel assembly, about $200 for the part.

Replaced the control board in my whirlpool dishwasher model# WDT790SLYM1 and the push panel lights up but when I push the start button all lights go out and the dishwasher will not start.

Control panel. Try to push cancel button to see if it resets.if not google it and they will walk you through it.

I would suspect you need a new control panel assembly.

My Whirlpool DU1145XTP won't turn on. Clean light
Check the themistor in the control panel. Radio Shack sells these for about $1.30 each. I replaced the one in my dishwasher three years ago and have had no issues since.

The only thing that will cause this is a faulty control panel.
