Google search produced the following description... The Maine Koon is the largest domesticated cat breed. It has a distinctive physical appearance and valuable hunting skills. It is one of the oldest natural breeds in North America, specifically native to the state of Maine, where it is the official state cat. Wikipedia: Length: 1 m (Adult, Nose to tail) Scientific name: Felis catus Common nicknames: Gentle giants Mass: Male: 5.9 - 8.2 kg (Adult), Female: 3.6 - 5.4 kg (Adult)
Did you know: Maine Koons are built to survive cold winter temperatures.
I don't approve of shaving a cat except in the warmest climates. I suggest you increase grooming frequency. Lots of dogs actually enjoy being vacuumed but most cats run though the Maine Koon is considered a fairly laid back sort of cat it might be worth trying... Sorry about the spelling - this site won't allow the correct name of the breed.

Hi give me a favor my oster A5 without blade noise when you just start after that run normal ?

LOVE IT! Finally after having 5 shavers around the house that do not cut my cats hair, I found this! My cat is a longhair cat that has very thin fur and this works very well for her. I used to spend a lot of money at the vets for them to sedate and shave her. Now I have been using this and it works so good. If you are looking for a shaver that works, this would be the best! The only drawback would be it gets hot kind of fast but not a big deal. Also shave at a angle it works better for getting a close cut

Tip regarding shaving

.Shaving with grain means shaving in the direction of how the hair grows on your face. It is always best to shave this way. Shaving against the grain can cause redness, rashes, razor burn and ingrown hairs, which are all painful.

Does your hair grow back darker and thicker once you start shaving it? I am talking about leg hair, not beards etc

Shaving your legs doesn't make the hair grow faster than it normally would, but because the removal is just from the surface and not the root - it grows back fast and that's why people think it's the shaving that's to blame. The other problem is that shaving your legs causes the hair to have a blunt tip and it makes the ends look more darker and more stubbly.

What type of bowl is best suited for my Persian cat?

Since this particular breed is more flat-faced you should look for a flat bowl with concaved sides. This will help your cat to scoop the food into its mouth.

Depending on the breed and size of your puppy you should ensure that you buy a big enough house, check with your local vet and ask what size they think your dog will grow to and then you can make your decision.

Flat screen tv winter storage

HELLO

Your TV will be fine as long as it is kept at room temperature indoors and not inside a shed or similar outbuilding. Much warmer in a house, probably near freezing in a wooden shed.

Hope this helps you (:-)
