Question about Hyundai Televison & Video

Open Question

Are the electronics of the touch screen on the dashboard in any way associated with the back of the vehicle? Can a rear collision make the touch screen go dim or dark in a 2018 Hyundai Sonata SEL?

Touch screen is dim/dark, letters jumbled up. Not enough light to see anything on it. Happened 3 weeks after a rear collision; but not immediately after. Can this be related?

WHAT ARE THE IR,BRAKE-IN,BACK CON, WIRES FOR LITB100-7G RADIO

Automotive vehicles are increasingly being equipped with collision avoidance and warning systems for predicting the potential collision with an external object, such as another vehicle or a pedestrian. Upon detecting a potential collision, such systems typically initiate an action to avoid the collision and/or provide a warning to the vehicle operator. The aim is to design and develop a control system based on an automatic, intelligent and electronically controlled automotive braking system for automobiles is called as "INTELLIGET BRAKING SYSTEM". This Braking system consists of IR transmitter and receiver circuit and the vehicle. The IR sensor is used to detect the obstacle. There is any obstacle in the path, the IR sensor senses the obstacle and giving the control signal to the microcontroller, which in turn sends a signal to the motor to stop and also to the solenoid so as to stop the vehicle as programmed. This project facilitates electromagnetic braking system using solenoid. Here in fabrication module include a circular disc associated with a dc motor and a solenoid. Embedded system module includes micro controller with a solenoid and sensor

Where is the Inertia switch

The switch shown to the right is intended to disable an electric fuel pump in automotive applications. This functionality is required in some vehicle racing applications, since an electric fuel pump may otherwise continue operating after a collision orrollover. If the fuel line is broken or the vehicle is inverted, fuel may be spilled, creating a fire hazard. A small loose weight (called a proof mass) is trapped within a spring-loaded cage. A shock in any direction will cause movement of the mass relative to the cage. If sufficiently shocked, the cage will spring open which actuates an associated switch. The switch is reset by pressing the cage closed through the flexible (red) top cover, retrapping the mass. These switches are also used to open a contactor (a large relay) to disable the high power circuit of a battery electric vehicle upon collision.

How do the Volvo safety coefficient is so high?

Safest Volvo so has the following main factors: the first is the reasonable structure, the maximum to prevent collision to the personnel inside the vehicle damage, sometimes for the sake of security structure tend to give upmore gorgeous appearance; and the choice of materials, at the time of the collision can absorb a large amount of energy, the purpose is to protect thepersonnel inside the vehicle safety auxiliary facilities. In addition the college entrance examination, such as chairs, and airbag reset tool, are the precision of the electronic system of strict control.
Can be said Volvo's safety is omni-directional, for them, not what is more important than safety.

How to replace headlight switch

First check all the light bulb's. Then check all the fuse's related to the lights on the vehicle. If that doe's not solve the problem, Check the relay that may be associated with the exterior rear light's. If that does not solve the problem, You either have a bad light switch itself located under the light knob that you are turning the lights on and off with, which is located on the dashboard display panel in various different location's depending on the make, model and year of your motor vehicle. and if that does not solve your problem it is possibly a wiring shortage which is followed from the light switch through the dashboard, to the fuse box, then through the entire vehicle running from the front of the vehicle to the back of the vehicle on the floor of the vehicle on either side of the vehicle, or the wire's may be located in the interior roof trim located on the inside of the vehicle over the door area running from the front off the vehicle to the rear of the vehicle, or the wire's could also run from the front of the vehicle to the back of the vehicle through the center of the floor or center console area, But most light shortage's are located either at the light fixture itself, which is where the light bulb is located, or either at the fuse in the fuse box, or at the light switch located on the dashboard display area.

Typical Jaguar Dealership attitude. You didn't have them repair the collision damage, and they are punishing you.

Could Rear end damage from a wreck cause my speedometer and gas gauges to stop working?

You must understand that collision stresses the ENTIRE vehicle. Just because it was hit from behind, does not mean that there is not collision damage in the front. I had a vehicle in my shop several years ago that was hit from the rear. The engine began knocking shortly after. It turned out that the collision had jarred the engine hard enough to cause the crankshaft to crack. This type of damage is extremely rare, but can happen. Trying to convince the insurance company that this was collision damage was a real trick.... On the other hand, fuel sending unit failures are quite common (without any collision) and can cause your fuel gauge to stop working.

The only way to determine if your problems are caused by the collision would be to first diagnose the problem. Only then can it be determined if the current failure is caused by collision or possibly caused by a more commonly known failure type.

I have a 2000 eclipse....i just put in one of those touch screen cd players with a 7 in screen....now it kinda sounds like **** because i think the dashboard speaker went...can i just buy door and back...

yes. You don't need the dash speakers, you can just put door and rear speakers in. Also for the front you can get component speakers and put the tweeters in the dash. Trust me, it will sound great! Make sure whoever is doing this knows what their doing because another thing that can cause your system to sound bad is phase and polarity problems.
