The reset button is normally a thermal overload, using a bio-metallic strip to break the circuit. If it is old or has popped a few times it might have 'weakened' abit. Try replacing the thermal/reset button. If it still happens then something might be overheating and causing the problem.

In my personal view and the best way is used to repair a hole in a hollow-core door depends upon whether the door is painted or stained and wait to dry and sand smooth and paint over it.

Remove the screw. cut a few slivers of wood with a knife or just use toothpicks. put wood glue in hole and push wood slivers in hole. break them off at the end or just take a hammer and tap until flat. let glue dry then drive your screw.

I think the best way to fill in a whole is with plaster and then find a paint that matches the color as close as possible. To mimic the lines in the fake wood, find a paint brush that has similar bristle structure. Good luck!

you should be able to order one from sears. another place to look is ebay. the round plastic thing is to mark with pencil the cut of the blade. put in your sliding miter Gage set at 90 deg. put a piece of wood on it, push forward and cut the wood then slide back and mark the wood position on the plastic. that's the point where your blade cuts

Woods model 16ULD/3A timer-lost instuctions

I have not heard of Woods 16ULD.
Woods timers sometimes have more than 1 model number for same timer, depending on who packaged and sold timer.

You posted under Woods plug-in timer with segments around edge of dial.
If this is not your timer, add a comment.

To program Woods timers with segments:
Rotate dial until current time lines up with arrowhead located on inner dial
Segments around outer edge of dial lift up.
Use fingernail, or small screwdriver to lift up segments when you want timer to turn OFF.
Leave segments down for times you want timer ON.
Slide switch located on top of timer is manual override.
Move switch to ON position when you want lights ON full time.
Move switch other direction for timer program to operate.
Timer dial rotates with passing time.
Program repeats each 24 hours.
Table lamp must be turned ON for timer to function.
If timer doesn't work, check receptacle for power, check that lamp is turned ON, and check that bulb is good.

If you can get the toungue and groove to go back together and force the two pieces back down flat, you might consider nailing it down with a couple of small brads and then setting and filling the nail holes.
Sometimes it is possible to cut part of the tongue off one piece if the tongue is damaged and won't engage smoothly, but leave enough to keep the piece interlocked with its mate. You can cut it with a sharp utility knife by making repeated cuts.
Mask off the finished area adjacent so you don't damage it.
But why did it come up in the first place? Is it installed too tightly in the room, so that expansion due to changes in humidity has caused it to buckle?
You may need to address the underlying cause for any repair you do to last...
I hope this helps to shed a little light on a difficult situation....
