How is the guard switch attached on model jvb37h1bb? It was disassembled to change a part and now we can’t figure out how to reattach it.

lay the spring into the plastic safety cover, you will see a catch for one portion of the spring, the cover plate goes over it and there is a tab on it to catch the loose end and then the center plate which screws on to hold everything in place, check by turning the plate that holds it onto the saw for free movement. You can go to makitausa.com and in the header area on the right type in your model number ls1030n and you can download or look at a breakdown to see what I am talking about. I bought this tv used. The tv was not attached to the base she had it just resting in it. I would like to securely reattach it and can't figure out how. There are no screws either.

How to change brake light bushing on 1998 nissan frontier
the break light switch has a needle like rod that pushes up against a flat plastic bushing. The bushing has probably fallen out. Without the bushing the rod has nothing to push against. So, your brake light stays on. I replaced mine with a rubber press screw that fits perfectly in the small hole. Rubber press screws are generally used to secure rubber splash guards under vehicles. They push in and don't back out. Now reattach your break light switch and the rod will now have a bushing to push against.

JVB37H1BB downdraft ventilation system stuck
Folks, I have experienced the same problem several times - in all of my cases the problem was solved by simply opening the back panel and taking out the motor assembly and re-aligning it. The problem is that the arm tends to slip out and therefore won't raise or lower the hood anymore. Be careful when aligning it can be a little tricky - carefully observe the how the motor works outside of the housing via the switch and you will get the idea.

The return spring for the blade guard on my Makita 5630D cordless circular saw came off. It is attached to the blade guard, but I can't figure out where it attaches to the saw housing. Any hlep would be...
there should be a hole in the housing towards the back of the saw, you can go to Makitatools.com and download a breakdown for this tool.

How do you chabge the belt in the dirt devil ultra swivel?
Attached is a copy of the link for the manual. I have included the steps here, but the manual has drawings on page 10 of the manual, it will tell you how to change the belt. You will need a phillips screwdriver.

  1. Lay cleaner flat and flip cleaner to expose nozzle base. Base should lay flat end face up. To remove nozzle guard, use Phillips or Flat head screwdriver to remove the 5 screws. Arrows on diagram shows locations of screws.
  2. Lift nozzle gueard off.
  3. Be sure belt is off motor shaft. Lift and remove brushroll. Dispose of old belt.
  4. To Replace belt, Slide belt onto motorshaft
  5. Place new belt in area of brushroll without bristles
  6. With new belt in place, pull end slide brushroll into nozzle making sure that the brushroll end caps are in the correct orientation. Rotate brushroll manually to make sure belt is prperly aligned.
  7. Reattach nozzle guard
  8. Secure by aligning the 3 tabs in the base slots. Replace all 5 screws to secure nozzle guard.
