You could try calling Speed Queen Support at 800 552 5475. They may be able to walk you through it or send you a document. I have used them as my SQ wasn't spinning up to high speed, so the cloths came out wetter and wouldn't dry in the dryer. I called them and they told me how to diagnose the problem. The cause was that the belt is loose and I'll need a new belt. Another guy told me it was the motor which was a much more expensive fix, and not something I believed..good thing. So give them a call.
DId it work? I just replaced my belt today. It hasn't solved my spin situation - the machine doesn't get up to full speed and the clothes are still dripping wet after the cycle. The pump seems to be working great - water shot out the hose like a fire hose during the rinse cycle so its not that and there doesn't seem to be an obstruction. I'm at a loss.
Yes it did work! I did a test first. Speed Queen support suggested that I try pulling on the arm with a pulley that adds tension to the belt. With the front of the washing machine off, I could pull on the spring attached to arm which puts more tension on the pulley during the spin cycle. Sure enough, as the spin cycle went on and I added tension by pulling on the tension spring, I could clearly see and hear the tub was spinning much faster.
After that test I ordered a new belt and a new tighter spring as suggested by Speed Queen support.
Today I installed the new belt and spring...problem solved!

Make sure that the lid switch is working as it can make the program from advancing forward. So check the continuity of the switch that goes to trigger the main board.
If Ok then the program controller is not functioning, if you can try to change manually then the control board is faulty.
