I have a Homedics Easy lounge shiatsu massage chair, model Mcs-1210H. One of the massage nodes broke off, and i was wondering where i could find a replacement node.

My mom had the same problem so i unzipped it from the back, and once i started to take out the padding i saw that there was a wire unplugged so i plugged it back in and it worked!

Did I understand correctly, that your setup looks like this:
- 2 machines
- switch 1
- 400ft cable
- switch 2
- 2 machines
?
If so, the problem is with the 400ft cable. Ethernet specifications allow for only 100 meters (~325ft) of cable for reliable connectivity. You can push it a little bit, but in your case it's at least 22% more than is allowable. And if there are a lot of interferences on the way, and the cable is of inferior quality, your chances are rather low.
A high-quality cable might help (double shielded, well and uniformly twisted wire pairs), but the most reliable solution would be to put a small repeater/hub/switch somewhere on the way, where power for it can be provided - this should do the trick even easier than laying a new cable...
