On most electronic typewriters you change the margins by pressing the code button and holding down the press r margin or l margin on the key board. You want the carrier to be where you want the margin set. To set margins beyond the right or left margin move the carrier to the margin and press margin release to go past the margin. Then press code left or right margin.

How to fit a water pump

take it off , put it back, sounds simple huh.
but can be, on all RWD cars, (love em ,me)
but what engine does it have. ??? lots sold world wide, what vast types. name it?

1: disconnect neg, battery lug. (safety)
2: remove all fan belts blocking pump.
3: remove fan if mounted to pump pulley.,. if not skip this.
4: drain coolant. all out. (i drop the bottom rad hose... bam out.
5: remove pump bolts,
6: clean surface with plastic scraper.
7: put back new pump with new gasket and sealant.
reverse above.

How can I get my typewriter back to its intial settings

There is no keystroke pattern to reset the EM series typewriter. There are two methods to reset this typewriter.
1.You can reset the daisywheel and remain on the same line of type, simply lift the top cover and then close it back down. The carrier will move to the left, reset the daisywheel and return to the last space typed.
NOTE: This will not affect the format settings (bold, underline, etc)
2.If you want to abandon the current typing position; turn off the typewriter, wait 10 seconds for the power supply to reset and then turn the typewriter back on. The typewriter will reset and the carrier will return to the beginning of the current line.
NOTE: Turning off the power will restore the format settings to standard default settings (bold, underline, etc).

How do i replace a water pump on a 1997 vw passat

Water Pump REMOVAL & INSTALLATION 1.8L Engine NOTE: The coolant pump is bolted to the brackets for the generator, power steering pump, and cooling fan.

Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
Position the lock carrier into the service position as follows:
1. Remove or disconnect:
  - Front bumper.
  - Any wiring or connector that would inhibit locking the carrier.
  - 3 quick-release screws on the front noise insulation panel.
  - Air guide between the lock carrier and the air filter.
  - Retaining clamps for the wiring harness at the left side of the radiator frame.
  - No. 2 bolts and install Support tool 3369 or equivalent.
  - Remaining bolts and pull the lock carrier out to the stop.
2. To secure the lock carrier, install the appropriate M6 bolts into the rear of the lock carrier and fender.
Remove or disconnect
- Negative battery cable.
- Accessory drive belt, then the engine driven cooling fan.
- Coolant.
- Clamps for the coolant hoses at the water pump.
- Intake air duct between the intake manifold and the charge air cooler.
- Generator mounting bolts and slide it forward.
- Wiring from the generator once it is removed.
Unbolt the following supports and brackets for the generator, power steering pump, and engine cooling fan:
1. Intake manifold support
2. Support for the engine torque bracket
3. Brace to the cylinder block (remove completely)
Remove or disconnect:
- Brackets for the generator, power steering pump, and engine cooling fan, positioning the brackets to the left side using a piece of wire
- Coolant hoses from the pump and thermostat housing
- Coolant pump housing from the timing belt cover
- Coolant pump mounting bolts, then the pump
- Impeller housing from the pump housing
To install: Fig. 1: Exploded view of the water pump, housing and related components — 1.8L engine
Fig. 2: Assembly bracket with water pump mounting bolt tightening sequence — 1.8L engine
Using a new gasket, mount the new coolant pump to the pump housing. Mounting bolts: 84 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
Using a new gasket and O-ring, install the coolant pump. Mounting bolts in alphabetical sequence: 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
Tighten the coolant pump housing to the timing belt cover to 84 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
Install or connect:
- Coolant hoses to the pump and thermostat housing.
- Brackets that were removed. Mounting bolts: 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
- Wires to the generator, then install the generator.
- Air intake duct between the intake manifold and the charge air cooler.
The remaining steps are the reverse of the removal.
Fill the engine with coolant
Fully close all power windows to stop, operate all window switches for at least 1 second in the close direction to activate the one-touch opening/closing function
After installing the lock carrier, check the wiring for proper routing near the cooling fan

Instructions for putting on a Snugli

Call Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921. I threw away my instructions too. I called gave them the model and manufacturing date and they emailed me the instruction manual. They will also fax or send regular mail too. The model and manuf dates are on inside of carrier next to where the armpit leve is. Hope this helps
