Here is a repair post for your problems. The cause is the abs sensor. The other lights come on telling you that these systems are turned off because of the abs problem. http://www.mercedesmedic.com/abspumprepair
Your manual should have some information. If you do not have one look here.

My Benz did the same and the cruise control would cut after a short period of time. If this is also happening to you,you need a Brake safety switch replaced. This is located behind you brake pedal.Go by a local Mercedes mechanic they should have one it's a common problem. You can put it on your self if you can screw in a light bulb! The warning lights will reset after a few engine starts.

I ahve the same problem plus stalling. Dealer wants to replace 3 different modules and change me $800. what was your solution?
Most likely ou have speed sensor that Is not giving the correct info. At startup the abs does a self check and since the light stays off until you drive it there is no issue with the systems integrity. The light comes on after you start to move because the system is not seeing the info it should be seeing.
Your best course of action is to have the abs system scanned for trouble codes. This will help narrow the possibilities. Once you have the codes post them here.

Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You
must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool
and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for
the problem(s)
Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Anti-lock brake system. TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module. TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor System
