Make website text larger on Android nougat

can you ask this at Lenovo community?
or learn what version of Android OS you have now.
then go to any android forum on earth or read manuals on it.
but here is where to ask first.
what version of android you run,
the answer will be the Chrome browser rules I bet.
website + chrome browser = larger font.
Android "Nougat" (codenamed N in-development) is the major 7.0 release of the Android operating system. It was first released as a developer preview on March 9, 2016
also what Chrome browser version you run now, can have bearing on hot keys possible in the app.
Chrome browser V72 is NOW.
there are 2 ways, ZOOM or Font size.
I'm guessing font size is your question;

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?filter=location&q=tab%204%20,%20users%20manual%20android&location=category:Community-EN&collapse_discussion=true

next I will google for you, are you ready, 1,2,3 go google
lands this.,
If you want to change the font size for most of the websites you visit, you can change the settings of your Google Chrome browser to accommodate. Simply open your browser, click on the three vertical dots on the top right corner and click on "Settings." Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Show Advanced Settings." Under "Web Content," you can customize the set font size, page zoom and font. Note that though most of the websites you visit will appear in your set font size, page zoom and font settings, Google Chrome might not be able to adjust all websites.

Full list of Mozilla Firefox Hacks for Browser and Addons

These are a few of my favourite hacks for Mozilla Firefox 3 all of these will be saved in the prefs.js file and can be altered either using the about:config method in the browser or by using a combination of the Edit my Config extension XPI and the Yaldex Software Free JavaScript Editor
always make sure that you create a BUP first before any changes.

browser.cache.disk.capacity » 150000
browser.cache.memory.capacity » 150000
This will set the maximum disk space and memory for the browser's cache to ~150Mb

browser.cache.offline.capacity » 20480
browser.cache.memory.enable » false
Forcing Firefox to disable the cache but also to keep it self-contained.
(this will make pages that you visit often to be slow and stay slow, though so be careful)

browser.download.manager.closeWhenDone » true
browser.search.openintab » true
So that the searches from the search bar go into a new tab instead of the current one.
browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground » true
This forces Firefox to open new links in the background so that it doesn't steal focus from the page I am still trying to read!
browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick » false
browser.tabs.tabMinWidthset » 0
Disables tab scrolling, otherwise you can set it to the minimum allowable width of a tab (in pixels) before tab scrolling comes in.
browser.urlbar.hideGoButton » true
To remove that Go button you never use anyway.
browser.urlbar.maxRichResults » 5
browser.urlbar.autoFill » true
This will enable auto-completion.

browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo » 1
The higher the number the higher the memory, so I set this to 1 because I still seem to close tabs accidentally, but usually only 1

browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers » 1
This determines how many web pages to store in the cache.
Setting to 0 saves about 4Mb of cache per page, but slows things down for back/forward operations.
content.notify.backoffcount » 5
plugin.expose_full_path » true
ui.submenuDelay » 0

content.max.tokenizing.time » 2250000
content.notify.interval » 750000
content.notify.ontimer » true
content.switch.threshold » 750000

zoom.maxPercent -> 400 for the ability to zoom closer
zoom.minPercent -> 10 will let you can zoom out further
browser.zoom.full -> false for Firefox 2-like text zooming only
browser.zoom.siteSpecific -> false Removes site-specific zoom settings
toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues -> You can change zoom levels here

network.http.pipelining » true
network.http.proxy.pipelining » true
Allows for the use of proxy HTTP/1.1 pipelining.

Firefox can make more simultaneous connections for faster downloading
network.prefetch-next » false
network.http.max-connections » 48
network.http.max-connections-per-server » 16
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy » 8

nglayout.initialpaint.delay » 0
Firefox starts to render a page immediately (defaults to 250ms).

So that when you double-click on a word to select it, Firefox does not select the space to the right of that
word

Browser zoom

Suppose you want to zoom it at 150%, follow below instructions to make it default :-
Open Regedit and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Zoom. In the right-hand pane is a listing for ZoomFactor. Double-click on it and click the button next to Decimal. Change the value from 100000 to 150000, click OK, and exit Regedit. Now every time you open IE, it should be zoomed into 150%. This will also zoom any new tabs that are opened.

Adjust text size in web browser

If your are using Internet Explorer 9 then you can adjust the browser text size by clicking on View then Text size in the Menu bar.

If you don't see the Menu bar, then right-click your mouse on the top of the browser window (above the page tabs) and you will see a drop-down menu open - select Menu bar from this menu list and this will open under the address bar box.

For Google Chrome you would click on the Spanner icon near the top right corner of the browser, then use the Zoom controls to increase or decrease the magnification of the web page content. You can also use View and Zoom in IE9 if you prefer.

There will be similar controls / options in other web browsers.

I am running Windows 7, Chrome browser, Google Docs. When I open a spreadsheet, get the message that Your browser's current zoom setting is not fully supported. Please reset to default zoom....

Perhaps your browser is zoomed in or out. Try hitting CTRL+0 to reset the current zoom value (this sometimes is caused if you hit CTRL+ or CTRL- to zoom in or zoom out the web page) - probably even someone else made a zoom in and you didn't notice because Chrome saves the zoom even after relaunch.

My email text is at minimum size,i normally have it +125%.How can i get text larger?

A temporary fix for web browsers is to hold "Ctrl" then press the "+" to zoom in. "Ctrl" + "-" to zoom out and "Ctrl" + "0" to go back to default.
Take note that this changes only how the browser displays the email and not the email font size itself.

The web browser is displaying a blue screen and a tiny section of the required page only.

Hi BlackenBetty,

Well, from what it sounds, you've just zoomed right out so that everything on the browser page appears really, really small.

The solution is actually quite a simple one:

  1. Open the phone browser, or a web page.
  2. Turn the phone over, so that you see the camera lens. Note that the circular wheel around it has a bumpy grip area. This is so that you can zoom whilst taking photos.
  3. Put our finger on the grip area, and turn the phone back around so you can see the screen. Pulling the wheel anticlockwise will zoom out, pulling the wheel clockwise will zoom in.
Note; that this feature works only in camera and browser mode - and not in general menu.

Hopefully using this you will be able to zoom your screen back to a readable size.

Please reply so I can tell if this was helpful, or I can help you if not.

From Kat.
