Probably too late, but I've just had the same problem and if you push the foot of the scale in for a couple of seconds the 'kg' display starts to flash and then you can use the button on the bottom to change to lbs.

I have a 9026 WH3R changed the battery but it just displays 4 of these symbols - - - - if you stand on the scale it just displays 0-0

try change from lb to kg then back.

What is Err 5 ? I have just bought the scales and have tried to set them up. They give a weight reading but nothing eose except Err 5 and that is not listed in the instruction manual.

Too much body water composition. Are you extremely overweight?

Hi change kg to lbs

There should be a small switch on the back that allows you to select between kg/lb/stone.

The Homedics SC 380 scale said low battery. After the battery (3V DL 2032) was replaced nothing works (does not turn on). Why would this happen? Is there a reset button or a button that turns it back on?

The same happened with me, but here is what I did and it worked. I took the new battery out and set the setting on the bottom of the scale to Stone, put the battery back in. Now when I put the battery back in I made sure the plus on the battery was the last part to go in, it faced the part inside the casing that needs to be pushed back when you take out the battery. Once it was in I put the setting back to LBs and it worked. Don't know how but I was just as frustrated and it worked.

Scales show weight in kg. How to get them to show lbs.

Body Fat Monitor/Scales: TBF-611, TBF-612, TBF-621, TBF-622, BF-541, TBF-560, TBF-572. UltimateScales: 2000, 2001, 2001T. BF-662, BF-555, BF-556, BF-558, BF-559, BF-625, BF-626.
Press the Set and Up Arrow buttons at the same time. Release the buttons, the display will flash. Press the Arrow button to cycle through each weight mode until just the mode that you require is displayed. Then press Set. The display screen will flash to confirm your selection and store in memory.
Note: If weight mode is set to pounds or stone-pounds, the height programming mode will be automatically set to feet and inches. Similarly, if kilograms is selected, height will be automatically set to centimeters.

The instructions for the Homedics SC-540 (SC540) Health Station Body Composition Scanner. I recieved it for Christmas and have no manual. Where can I get the one that comes with the scanner scale? Carolyn

I had the same problem. However, you can request its manual to customer service, [email protected]. I received the manual in a few days via email.

Tanita, the Ultimate Scale

The scale may have instructions on the bottom of the scale. (Example for the Tanita: The Ultimate Scale w/ the body fat analysis). The instructions on the back state the following steps: Step 1: press both the "Set" and the triangle buttons. Step 2: press the "triangle" button until you select the appropriate weight measurement (a) kilogram, (b) stone lbs or (c) lbs. Step 3: press the set button.
