Samsung model un65c6500vfxza backlight will flicker bright when first turned on. After 30 mins it will stop and be normal. Sometimes I can go and change backlight setting and it will stop immediately. Usually selecting dynamic mode helps. Eco is off, power save is off. Its getting annoying and there is 3 circuit boards but not sure which one to replace? (power, t-conn, main) Its only on the upper half of the screen and is like a cameras flash bulb keeps going off. When it stops picture is perfect. Please help!

Your TV is in DEMO-STORE MODE.
Go to menu, find Plug & Play option, start it, and when asked, select Home Mode, than Enter and than just Exit.

Hi,
Its in "Shop Mode".
Change your source to TV (analogue), now press menu>find "Plug and Play" and select it and runs through the setup and selct "Home" prompted and not "Shop".
That should sort its out, when its in shop mode its doesn't matter how many times you make changes, when you power it off it will go back to the original shop settings, this feature was built in to allow shops the have all show TV's to run at optimal settings and if a customer played about with the settings it would matter as they are reset again when the TV is switched off and the store staff don't have to go around resetting all the TV's at the end of the day.
Thanks

Hello,
This is not the backlight its the power supply board. We have a repair guide posted on our web site at: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/samsung-204b-lcd-monitor-repair/ The repair consists of replacing 5 capacitors on the power supply board. If you can solder then you can do this repair. If you don't want to do the repair we do offer a repair service, you can get this information here: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/service-request-form/
I hope this helps, If so please rate our solution.
