You can call the specialists and they will repair it. But of course, you can try and clear it yourself, it will be a little bit hard to do if you don't have the necessary experience because you will have to take care of how you unscrew the filter without causing damage, after that you can find the location of the problem. I am thankful that when I have made my all these small issues were already taken into count and workers didn't make any problem when they had installed the sink. It's an ordinary thing which is not so hard to repair.

Other than the cartridge the only other serviceable component shown is the aerator. Appears you will need a special tool - RP90248, Aerator & Wrench. If you disconnect the head at clip RP60911 (underneath sink) and then put a tube and bucket to catch water, you can open faucet and see whether there is good flow without the head. If good flow then restricted at head. If poor flow, restriction is upstream cartridge or before cartridge.

There is normally a filter at the end of the faucet outlet. They usually unscrew. its usually a fine mesh screen with a plastic backing mount.

SOURCE: Loss of pressure in kitchen faucet - Price Pfister

Your problem is a simple one.

  1. Turn off water to faucet.
  2. Place a towel(s) in the base of the sink(s) to prevent any parts from going down drain.
  3. Remove the handle to the faucet. (single handle only)
  4. If not a single handle then remove spout from faucet.
  5. If a single handle remove cap carefully and any loose parts.
  6. Gently turn spout side to side while lifting to remove.
  7. You will see a hole with a very small valve where the water comes out to the spout on the base of the faucet.

  1. Remove this valve (which is a backflow preventer) and replace.
  2. Reassemble and test.
Problem solved.

SOURCE: low pressure and flow on hot water side of single handle faucet

It could be one of two problems, one simple, one serious.

  • Easy fix
  1. Turn off hot water angle stop under sink to faucet.
  2. Remove supply line from hot angle stop.
  3. Place end of supply line in a small bucket to catch some water.
  4. Turn on cold water for a couple of seconds and backflush debris from faucet.
  5. Reconnect supply line.
  6. Turn on angle stop and test
  • Complex fix
If you have steel pipes you may be experiencing reduced flow due to corrosion in your pipes. Reduced hot water pressure in the kitchen faucet is usually the first sign since this is the faucet that is most used in the home.

Repiping is a job for a professional. Another symptom you may need a repipe is orange colored or rusty water.

SOURCE: DELTA MODEL 470-WH LOW WATER FLOW AT KITCHEN FAUCET

This could be a couple of things.

  1. First remove the aerator from the wand and make sure you have plenty of flow with it off.
  2. If there is flow clean or replace the aerator.
  3. Remove the wand and look between the hose connection and the wand there should be a screen between them. Remove the screen and clean or replace.
  4. Make sure hose is kinking under the sink.
If you need a diagram of the faucet with part numbers here is the link:

I have a Delta kitchen faucet model #467-SSSD-DST. The cold water flow and/or pressure is not adequate. The flow and pressure from the hot water side is fine. What may I do to fix my cold water problem?

Hi,
Take the handle off (set screw underneath)
Then turn the top off under the handle....make sure water is off...
then you will find a ball with the handle stem on it....note the position of it and pull it out...
under there are two wets of springs and rubber seats...
pull the right side out and check the hole for a blockage...(dirt or rust)
if none is visible, you may have to unhook the cold water supply hose
and then blow compressed air back through the hole to remove the blockage...
then reassemble...

Low pressure hot water only delta 470ddt

there is likely sediment under the spring and washer on the hot water side of the faucet under the handle. If you shut off the valves to the faucet, it is very easy to dismantle. There is an allen screw on the front of the handle to remove the handle. Under the handle there is a nut. Once you unscrew this nut there is either a ball or a cartridge )depending on the year of the faucet) that can be removed If it is the ball, then you will see two rubber washers in the base. Use your allen wrench or needle nose pliers to remove the washers and remove any sediment.

Very low pressure on delta 470 faucet

To get full pressure you need to pull the wand away from the base. Then remove the wand from the hose becareful not to loose the washer. When the wand is removed look down the wand you will see a plastic part. That plastic part is a flow restrict-er. You need to put a screw in the restrict-er and pull it out. When it is out put wand back on the hose then you will have full water pressure.

After a recent water main break, our Delta Model 473 kitchen faucet now has very low water pressure. It also continues to flow for a few seconds after turning it off. I tried unscrewing the screen and...

Check the screen at the hose connection under the sink. Check the hoses for any large debris in them. Verify that the water pressure coming from the water outlets under the sink is good. There is obviously a restriction somewhere...you just need to locate it.
