Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
SOURCE: Disk Scratched By Xbox 360
Did you move the xbox while it was on? My son did that with Scene it game installed and it scratched the disk. All that I did was take it to Family Video where they have an machine to refurbish the disk and it only cost about 2 bucks. The game works perfectly now.

SOURCE: Polaroid FLM-2601 flat screen
It has a protective outer screen and depending on the depth of the scratch you might be able to restore it. You'll need to look on-line at a few aircraft site for a kit that is meant to polish scratches from the plexi in an aircraft windshield. There is a company in Oregon http://www.chiefaircraft.com/airsec/Aircraft/Windshields/ScratchRemoval.html
that sells the kit for 34.95....
It is time consuming but I have restored many this way!

SOURCE: I'Ve scratched my Fifa 10 disc.
EA will not replace your game disc. This happens to many gamers and it's not something they take responsibility for.
So your disc is officially garbage. But you're not completely out of luck. Do what I did. Go to sellitbroken.com and sell your game to them. They will give you good money for it.

SOURCE: When scratching off the grey stuff over the pin
You may be out of luck with that. They may think you purposly scratched off the 5 numbers so you can get more time. I would open up xbox.com and find a screen that tells you how much time you have and print screen it (hit print scrn), open paint, Ctrl V (Paste) and print it. Than bring your card, the picture to prove it, and your receipt and make sure when you take your screen shot it has the date in it by moving your cursor over the date in the bottom right corner.
Good Luck.
Hope this helps ^^. Please dont forget to rate, Thanks

Put on a pair of plastic gloves and smear a thick layer of Armour Etch etching compound on your sunglass lenses---the tops and the bottoms of the lenses. Leave the Armour Etch on the sunglasses for five minutes and then rinse it off under the faucet with cold water. You can find Armour Etch at any craft store. It is designed to be a fast acting etching compound and works great for getting rid of scratches.
Spray lemon Pledge furniture polish directly on your lenses, both front and back. Rub it in with a rag. Wash the sunglasses with dish soap and water.
Spray the liquid Band-Aid on the sunglass lenses being careful to wipe off any excess with a paper towel. Let the liquid dry and then wear your sunglasses.
Liquid Band-Aid is sold at pharmacies.
Apply BRASSO furniture polish to your lenses and rub it in for three minutes. This product tackles the really stubborn scratches. Wash your lenses off with soap and water.
Rub cigarette ashes in the scratches and then wash clean. You may have to do this more than once to completely get rid of the scratch.
Use toothpaste. Apply a small amount of toothpaste on the lenses. Use a soft, cotton cloth to rub the toothpaste into the lenses. Use a small circular motion. The toothpaste will act as a filler and fill in the gap created by the scratch. Continue applying a circular motion for 10 seconds and rinse with lukewarm water. If the scratch is deep or stubborn, you might have to repeat the process.
Use baking soda to remove scratches on your sunglasses. Mix 1 part water to 2 parts baking soda to create a creamy paste. Use the cotton cloth to distribute the paste onto the scratched lens. Use a circular motion to rub the baking soda paste into the lens. Rinse with lukewarm water. More stubborn scratches warrant a second application.
Use windshield fluid. The windshield fluid will polish off the scratches. Apply a small amount of windshield fluid onto a cotton cloth. Polish the sunglasses with the cotton cloth for several seconds. This method is especially effective against smaller scratches but may not remove prominent blemishes.
Use vehicle wax. The lipids in the wax will fill in the scratches. Apply a small amount of vehicle wax onto the cotton cloth. Apply the cotton cloth into the offensive scratch. Keep using a circular motion until the scratch is removed. You may need to use several cloths, as the wax can adhere to the fabric, subsequently marring its performance.
Use an eyeglass polishing kit, which usually contain a soft cloth and polishing liquid. These kits are great to use on your glasses, telescopes and camera lenses, and can be purchased from your local drugstore or optometrist's office. The kit cost $10 to $20 in 2010.
