What are the error codes on an optoma tw865 projector

contact optima in california. i had to after circuitcity failed to honor my extended warranty... surprise huh ??? anyway i talked to a factory rep. about the white vertical bar and he stated the unit has to come in..period. i said , so you know about this problem, he said yep, and the unit has to come in.. if your unit is under 2 years old they will warranty the repair, you have to pay the shipping to them, but they sent me a replacement unit next day air.. absolutely awesome customer service.. just google " optima projectors factory support" you will get an e-mail address. they e-mailed back immediately with a 800 number and we went from their..they were great and totally stood behind their product..

i'd say power supply issue, but the led is blinking green. this means that it thinks it's in warmup/standby mode. but if nothing's running, the main board might be bad and needs to be replaced.

The flashing temp light indicates a cooling fan failure. The lamp light indicates a bulb failure.

Sounds like its overheating and shutting down. Disassemble the projector components as many as you can, get a can of compressed air and empty it on the projector. That should get rid of any dust that may be causing the overheating problem and resolve it. Give it a shot and let me know
