Go to menu look under cable/air switch to cable if you have cable then look for Auto Programming press go this will then automatically program all channels that you reviced, a universal hand unit can not do the things that your hand unit can do ! If you need more help let me know.

You don't program the TV to the remote, you program the remote to the TV

Find the Vizio codes on the paperwork that comes with the remote. There will probably be several codes. You need to try each one. Before programming turn the TV on manually. After put in each code try turning the TV off with the remote. Then try to turn back on and try volume up If OK everything else should work. Occasionally 2 different codes will turn off the TV in the test above. Use the one that allows the most functions to work

FINALLY not every "Blackweb" remote will control every TV You may need to get another one that specifically says it can control Vizio.

I programmed my blackweb remote bwb18av0018 to my tv and DVD player but when I try to navigate on my DVD player none of the buttons like play work any answers as to why that is.

Remote not compatible with DVD player or programing not complete , try to reprogram the remote.

Hi,

1.Turn on the component to be programmed, such as the television or DVD player.

2.Press the "Code Set" button on your Hitachi remote. The button is often located near the top with the separate component buttons.

3.Press the button for the component you wish to program with the Hitachi Remote(TV,DVD).

4.Enter the manufacturer's code for the component being programmed. The manufacturer's code can be found either in the Hitachi manual, the manual for the component being programmed or on the website of the manufacturer of the product.

5.Press the "Enter" button to submit the manufacturer's code.

6.Press the power button for the component being programmed. Make sure the remote is pointed at the correct component, and it should turn on if the program was entered correctly
