Turn it over - take out battery and check with multimeter to ensure it is still workable - let sit for 10 to 15 seconds - replace battery - set it on level surface and step on and back off. Step on it again and it should now work.

Sounds like no power. Check for correct battery replacement; may need to verify that your replacement batteyr is still good.

Battery Replacement

1. Use 3 volt CR2032 lithium battery (as installed).

2. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the scale.

3. Remove the old battery from the compartment.

4. Place the new battery with the "+" sign up into the battery compartment.

5. Replace the battery compartment cover.

I know what is this error. This is BATTery low. New battery last only 2 month, I've seen a problem with the kick feature to power-on the scale, those pressure buttons might get stuck and leak current and kill the battery.
