You probably have some bad buffer boards as well as a bad Y-main bd and or a bad X-Main bd. Have a trained samsung tech troubleshoot the set.

The problem lies in the X-Drive boards or the TCPs (tape carrier packages) and they are not serviceable. Once faulty the X-Drive boards must be replaced. The worst scenario is a bad TCP because it indicates a bad panel and you have to replace the panel. The X-Drive boards deliver color information to the vertical grids of the panel through the TCPs. That's why when a fault occurs in the TCPs, vertical black bars appear on the screen and an a much larger part when an X-Board fails. Your TV uses three of these boards, one each driving the right, center and left portion of the plasma panel. The left X-Board has eight TCPs and seven to each of the right and center X-Boards. In your case, the vertical grids driven by the center X-Board is dead but you can't tell the board has failed, It is due to the fact that both the right and left boards are okay but only two TCPs are good on each of them. Meaning there are six bad TCPs on the left board and five on the right. Remember a bad TCP indicates a bad panel and you have at least eleven bad TCPs. The only solution here is buy a new panel or probably a salvaged one auctioned on ebay or have your set or its parts auctioned on ebay then buy a new plasma TV.
Try changing the input device to something you are sure works. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

If you still have back light, then the T-con is probably defective. If you don't have back light, then you either have a bad power board/inverter or a defective panel
