I have a cheese dispenser from AFP Dispensers, Model is Sierra and I do not know how to work it. PLus I need to know what types of cheese it dispenses.

I would not recommend changing the valve with anything other then the exact replacement part. If you know what coil works the bleach dispenser you maybe able to disconnect it... but some computer controlled models will kick out a error code if something is disconnected

Plastic condiment dispensers are less delicate than ceramic or glass ones, but plastic is a material that absorbs odors and tastes after time. Therefore, for restaurants and fast foods who need many dispensers and want them to be more resistant over time, plastic is definitely a better choice.
However, for homes, where the dispensers sit in the kitchen and the condiment stays in the dispenser for longer periods of time, i would suggest buying prettier ceramic or glass dispensers.

I have this same problem, plus the pre-wash soap dispenser doesn't open sometimes even though a service guy replaced that. Could he have replaced just one side and not the other? this dishwasher also has a new motor. sometimes it washes beautifully. but other times it does not. even if both dispensers opened.

The dispenser is usually controlled by an actuator of some type. This can consist of a small electric wax motor, switch or mechanical assembly. Some dispensers come equipped with an actuator as one complete assembly, while others have separate components that can be purchased separately. I would need your complete model number (located somewhere along to door opening) to be sure what type you have. I can locate a part number for you and give you some guidance on how to make the repairs yourself, if you wish to pursue this on your own and avoid the cost of a repairman. Fabric softener is mostly a liquid wax. It is common for dispensers to have problems if the you use liquid fabric softener a lot. The softener becomes a sticky solid and can gunk up everything over time. I believe the type of dispenser on your washer simply flushes water into the reservoir at a prescribed time and then dispenses into the wash tub. If this reservoir becomes clogged somewhere it may actually be filling up and overflowing into another reservoir in the dispenser and getting dispensed that way. I would try cleaning the dispenser thoroughly, first. Since it IS dispensing (but at the wring time) I don't think you have a control problem. Try cleaning and let me know if this helps.
