My TV model number is LG OLED55C8PUA
This is a fairly new model and if not under guarentee try changing the batteries on remote. This TV comes with a remote that has a very poor record.

First I want to warn you about testing any part of the TV power supply. Please take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of you and anyone else.
If you open the TV follow the power cord and where the power cord plugs into the TV, there should be a power board. On the power board you will see a number of capacitors. They are about 1" high and about 1/2" dia. This is where the electricty is stored for power to assist starting the TV. Be very careful when you handle that power board. Look at the top of all the capacitors and if any one of them is domed, bulging or looks like they are about to come apart. Then those capacitors are defective. Each capacitor must be absolutely flat on top. As I said before, not flat on top...replace the capacitor. You don't need any special training. But it would be better if you had some experience in soldering. I'm not an expert in TV repair so I'm only offering my solution that worked for me. Let me know the outcome, please.
Thanks
Robert Mercer

If u take off the back you may get lucky and have a blown fuse. It wont be far from the place the wires from the plug in connect to the board. There is a power transformer in there that drops the voltage from 110 to 12 and is often protected by a fuse.

Sure you can go herehttps://www.6ya.com/mrmmike and I can start the process of instructing you on how to find the problem and repair it. Video call would be better. You can also post another question and I can ignore it so someone else could offer you a solution- keeping in mind that I am one of the most advanced here. Anyone on my level will not be diagnosing your tv here one fixya- We are repair experts but fixya is not a repair/ diagnostic site... we help you here not offer repairs

replace the main control board btw
is my short answer
When i disconnect one of the lvds cable from the T-con board the TV Turns on but gives no display but has sound working
ok it sound like the main board is shutting down due to power fault- have you verified the voltages on the power supply? also look for bad caps and other damaged parts while your st it
but when I disconnect the cable TV turns on everything works fine except for display, the TV detects the USB when I connect it to the TV. So how can the main board shutdown? Voltages on the power supply are normal and I can't see any bad capacitors.
The lvds has fault lines as well as the inverter, the motherboard can sense faults and improper voltages and shut itself down, you need to stop sir before you hurt yourself. Your too lost, I say that with respect
Good luck
