Where is the device ID?on my cobra 8 channel?

That's a confusing question. Device id is the FCC device ID number and means it has been approved to transmit in the USA. It has nothing to do with model. So, in terms of a radio device, it means nothing to a tech or a way to get parts or even a battery. The device ID is typically located on the back of a radio or under the battery. Could you ask what you are looking for?

its send and transmit on pmr 446 mhz
left volume up down
right 8 channels
call is beep
there could be a subtone on a channel, selective call to reach users with same channel and subtone.
if subtone is off you can hear everyone on the channel.

Very interesting, what happens if you turn it to channel 1? What channel is it on?

Channel A is FRS channel 8, at 467.5625MHz.
Channel B is FRS channel 13, at 467.6875MHz.
